Went with a friend for dinner and was astounded by the dirtiness of the place. The area is self-seating we chose a place nearby the entrance. One server came a bit later to ask if we wanted any drinks, which she gave to us right away. However, the server to ask for food took a bit longer so we were mainly just sitting there. We looked through their menu online and decided to get the: Spicy Tuna Kimbap, Half of Fried Boneless Chicken, and the Omelette Rice. One of the dishes to eat was dirty, looked as if there was old tape on it with some of the black residue that occurs when one tries to rip off the tape after staying there for a while. The sides came quickly as well as the kimbap. We’re muslim so we can’t eat any forms of pork which is why when the Omelette Rice came we didn’t realize there was spam in the food as the description for the food was “Vegetable Fried Rice over Egg”. It was indeed NOT vegetable fried rice, there was shrimp AND spam in there. Our server came over when he dropped off our chicken which was slightly undercooked as many of them still had redness of the blood in them. This is where we told him we aren’t able to eat the Omelette Fried Rice as it contains food against our religion and we were unaware of it because of the lack of clarity in their description. He then went back to his manager and told him the situation where he then refused a refund or even a remake of the dish without the pork. He even came over himself and told us “we aren’t able to put every single ingredient of our dishes onto our menu” to counter us when we said the description wasn’t clarified. Another reasoning was we “wasted” their items which is why we would have to pay for it in full. My friend only took half a bite of the egg, which is on top of the rice, since she doesn’t like shrimp so she was avoiding getting any of them. Since the place wasn’t entirely empty we decided to be more civil and just let it go. The manager and server then proceeded to disrespect us and kept asking if we still wanted our food packaged. After the countless times we told them we cannot eat pork. The service was horrid and the chicken was bland. Their kimbap was the only decent dish we had that night. Definitely a place only friendly to those native and...
Read moreJust know in advance that if you tip less than 18% a woman will follow you outside and demand that you owe her more money. First she tried to just tell me I owe her more money, which is a lie that I called her out on, telling her that gratuity means optional and is by no way mandatory by law. She then tried to shake that off by saying she did not speak English. But then she asked me why I didn't give a higher tip and I straight up told her, the service was not welcoming and I also found my food to be bland. I told her I was not obligated to give any tip at all but I did, to which she just rolled her eyes and did not acknowledge what I had told her. It was very clear to me immediately that they do not care about genuine service whatsoever. They believe that your money is their money and they can bully, coerce and manipulate you for it. She walked off after I stood my ground but when she was about 8ft away she turned back just to yell that I was not welcome in her store anymore. I think it was pretty obvious that no one would return after that behavior. Note: I also saw later on in past comments that they have done this to other people too so it seems like they have a pattern going. Honestly, the service was lackluster and my food had basically no flavor, there are many other Korean restaurants that offer better service and food. Edit: so the owner responded and claimed I spent $60 and ordered many dishes, none of which did I buy. So either they are lying (again) or have confused me with someone else completely. I have the charge on my card to prove it, so I have no idea why they feel the need to lie about their customers. In no way have you tried to make it right at all. This customer service is...

Was highly recommended by a friend to visit this place for a try. I was looking for a nice warm meal, something with soup and noodles, and this was the perfect place for it!
The Food: For my main entree, I went with the Jjambbong Soojaebi. My friend had the Bibimbap as well. We shared a Spicy Tuna Kimbap and a Beef Kimbap as well. The Jjambbong Soojaebi was absolutely delicious! The spicy broth and the seafood in it were cooked perfectly, and the hand torn noodles were cooked nicely as well. The whole soup is nicely portioned and well worth it. Flavor was on point! As for the Kimbap, each roll was packed with it's fillings and tasted incredible. Quality food here.
The Service: Service was good. There isn't that much wait staff here since it's a very small place, so it can be slow at times.
The Atmosphere: The restaurant is very small, so if it's packed, you may be waiting a bit. the staff do make it a priority to clean tables when customers finish, so that was nice to see. Overall, a nice small restaurant that was fairly clean. There are plenty of parking spots, so no trouble finding parking.
Overall, a 5/5! Highly recommend trying this place. They have very good kimbap selections, as well as many other Korean dishes! I'll...
