So the flash fried Brussel sprouts with honey and red pepper flakes are genius. Might be the 2nd best Brussel sprouts i have ever had. I love Brussel sprouts. Perfectly cooked. Sweet of honey and slight heat of the pepper flakes actually brought dish over the top. The jagerschnitzel was good. Like maybe the 4th or 5th best. Well maybe not. Schnitzel was adequately pounded properly breaded as well. The mushroom gravy overpowered the dish with blandness. It needs some apple sweetness for typical schnitzel. Or some pepper flavor. Any flavor would have made it better. The beets were the best part of the dish. I love asparagus but it was disguised in the dish. It was hidden under everything. And it was not necessary but ok. Potatoes were good. A potato pancake might help wrap dish together better with some onion and apple in the Shred. It would tie it together better. The gravy took away from the dish. A spiced apple sauce might have been better flavored with one of your fruit tart beers. The service was great. The bartender gave great help and allowed tastings of different beers. The rise lager was good. Bad with the schnitzel. Lord Vader Imperial stout is S or A tier. Chalice of Goliath Barleywine was strong and well flavored but it is not as good as other American brewery barleywines. I prefer 3 Floyd's barleywine behemoth. Berlin pop was the strangest berliner Weiss that I have ever tasted. I wanted to explore it but knew it was not palatable with the schnitzel. The Fuzzy logic also had good flavors.

A wonderful place to eat and drink. The food was really great. Get the grits! everything we had was great👍. Looking forward to going back for a third time soon. We enjoyed some of these things: chili everyone liked a lot- not spicy, grits- omg my fav!!!!!! like mac and cheese, salad, chicken with veggie- brussle sprouts i believe--- sooooo good chicken moist flavorful sprouts i love, hanger steak was very good, we had burgers that were very good and I was able to save half for later. (these are all of everyones meals over the two visits) we got pretzles but they werent my fav to hard- very hard. but it was opening week so i bet they are better. the cheese with the pretzles was a beer cheese and very good! My friend asked for another of the beer cheese she liked it that much. the beer- im not a big beer drinker but my man says they were good.

Great beer. Friendly service. High priced food that is just plain greasy and awful. I ordered the Belgian style - Down Wit It. It was awesome just as described. Wheat ale with good aromas and flavors. And it arrived pretty quickly. The waiter was friendly. The gender inclusive toilets were clean. I guess there were just 3 of them. I'm more of a Men's room fan when it comes to breweries because that would ensure better availability. They had multiple TVs with multiple sports on them. I had ordered fried green tomatoes without the beef. The cheese and tomato sauce made it taste a bit sweet. I was expecting a more sour flavor. The fried pickles, although good on the quantity, the ones on the bottom were dripping with oil and the bread skins were just slipping out due to the grease. Didn't expect this sloppy dish for a 11$.

First yay! A true brew pub in woodbridge! A place that isn't a chain! Woohoo! They have some interesting beers and I quite enjoy a number of them. I have visited four times now, three times for food and tasty adult beverages.

Usually I have been immediately greeted and seated by one of their hostesses, pretty normal. Service staff then manage to ignore my wife and I for long enough that I either find the hostess and complain, or pin a server in the corner and request service. That is usually after 15 minutes of staring at the waitstaff after perusing the menu. They have an interesting and eclectic menu with very different offerings along with the usual pub offerings. We have enjoyed the tri dip, burgers, pretzels. This is still early days for this business so I expect they are still having growing pains. But they really really have to tighten up on their service. I will continue to drop in to fill my growlers as they do brew some very top notch beers, but man it's a pain to drop in for what is expected to be a nice relaxing afternoons nosh accompanied by a few tasty beverages, only to end up stressed because I can't get served that tasty beverage in a timely fashion.

I really want this business to do well in Woodbridge as we have so little in the way of non chain offerings and I can not emphasize enough that I very much enjoy their beer offerings. The facilities are always clean, the food has been good, good enough that we keep going back.

EDIT: It's been about a year since I posted this, we have continued to go to Onrey's and it has indeed continued to improve. Service is fine for what it is, I mean this isn't towel over the arm stuff here, it's a brew pub. Food is good, service is fine and appears so much more stable than previously. Beer has never been anything but excellent, service just had to catch up, and it has. I'm upping my stars and continuing to visit this...

We came here for dinner with friends for my husband’s birthday. We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu and regular menu. The entire evening was ridiculous. Food was cold, and over done. It took 20 min to get water. Drinks about 30 min. Appetizers arrived about 60 min after we ordered. We asked if they had anything we could snack on as we, an hour in, still had not received apps. Asked if the Bang Bang shrimp was supposed to be cold, Waitress said, “No (Blink, blink) .” Just walked away. Wine and bourbon cocktails were good. One lemonade cocktail said strawberry purée but it was grenadine and horrid. Waitress was very naive. When we asked for a Manhattan, she exclaimed, “ We don’t have a button on the register for that.” Say Whhhaaat? When we asked the waitress who brought the wine to us if she had heard good reviews on the Chardonnay she replied, “I think Chardonnay is gross so I am the wrong person.” Insert silence...My mashed potatoes were cold and seemed like they were made prior and re-heated. Salmon was cold. Jagerschnitzel was so over cooked it was difficult to cut. Key Lime Pie was like a science experiment gone wrong. Basically tasted like it was made from Agar. So our waitress said, “Yeah, everyone has returned this tonight.” So instead she brought bread pudding out. It was so hard and chewy we literally could not easily cut it with a fork. So let’s just say that despite our complaint after complaint we still paid for the horrid meal because we did not want to make a weird evening worse as it was my husband’s birthday and we were embarassed we brought our friends there to experience that. So advice, avoid Saturdays as they cannot manage the influx of people. Maybe mid-day non-rush times would be better? Do not order the desserts. Maybe wait until they get settled into and have...

Let me start by saying I was in the service industry for 13 years. So I know how things can get chaotic and not have the smoothest of service, however this was not the case. The 1st time my girlfriend and I went we were served our beers right away and ignored for a good ten minutes. Then another bartender noticed we weren't happy, took our orders, and fixed everything. I left a great tip. 2nd visit was horrible. We came back to use a coupon we got from our first visit for a holiday promotion. Mind you this place was not busy on either occasion. This time we were greated right away, served beers, and given menus. Then were completely ignored for a straight 20 minutes at least. My beer was warm and I stopped drinking it because it was obvious we were being ignored as the bartender walked past us several times avoiding eye contact. We were even in a central location at the bar. We learned the bartenders name from other patrons sitting near us and other employees because we were within earshot. We had tried getting her attention politely several times, but to no success. So we say her name loudly as to not be ignored again and she came over. We told her we weren't happy and that we've been ignored for a long time. She apologized and offered to pay for our beers. We left $10 to cover our beers and left. I've been to a lot of places in my life and this was the worst service I've ever had. We weren't even given an opportunity to order food. Disappointing considering we just moved right down the road and have always supported local places and...
