Read moreI’ve been to this establishment many times, so I know that this establishment requires you to pay $0.05/plastic bag. As I had a larger order, I purposely ordered two bags online, so I could easily carry the drinks/food as I would be meeting friends at the park. Upon arriving to the store, I had to wait since my order was not ready yet. When they called my name, I requested an additional bag since I had purposely ordered 2 plastic bags (they put the drinks in a plastic bag and food in a paper bag). The staff initially refused to give me an additional bag. Then, they stated that food only goes into paper bags. When I stated that I had paid for 2 bags and I would like a bag with a handle as it would be easier to carry the big order, the staff then stated that technically the paper bag counts as a bag. Honestly, this shocked me as I know in VA we have to pay for plastic bags but not flimsy paper bags. The staff had an attitude, and it seemed like they were coming up with new excuses each time. I understand if I had not paid, but again I had purposefully paid for 2 bags. Lastly, the paper bag containing the food had already ripped when they gave it to me as the staff had water on their gloves when touching the bag causing it to rip. The customer service at this establishment was absolutely terrible, and it astonished me that they were arguing with me on a $0.05 bag that I had paid for. I’m not sure if this awful customer service stems from the poorly trained staff or management being so uptight on their packaging.

Drinks are good, price is on par, toppings esp the boba in the larges are not super generous, but overall flavor wins out.
Food I’ve only tried the onigiri and so far the shrimp id the best one, price is good, just takes quite a bit to come out so be mindful of that.
We don’t like sweet drinks so i rarely get more than 30% sugar and I order the same thing in all of the 50+ boba places I’ve tried.
First time going in was a good experience, drinks were made well, ambiance was nice, took a bit of time for the order but I didn’t mind.
Second time I bring my family with me, we go in and order the EXACT same things I had two days before except that one drink went from 30% to 10% sugar because I found it a bit too sweet last time.
I get my order and I everything is fine except the one drink with new adjustment of 10%, it tastes much sweeter than expected at 10% even sweeter than what I had last. I get this same drink at other stores in the area and 30% is usually good for my tastes. So I go up to the worker and return the drink and ask them to remake it. I had taken two sips and my sister took two bc I thought I was going crazy since I ordered 10%. The worker proceeds to call “the boss” who instructs her to water down my drink???? I was appalled. Ive only had to remake a boba on very rare occasions but never had I been simply offered to just “water it down.” I was shook, def soured our experience.
