95 cents for a gallon of milk? Count me in! Because you're not paying for the brand-name, expect groceries to be cheap cheap cheap. Everything here is fresh and great quality. Only downside is that their item selection is limited, but as long as you're not too picky, Aldi's can still be a one-stop grocery shopping option for you. Make sure to bring a quarter to use their shopping cart (it's refunded to you when you're done), and your own bags!

My favorite grocery store in Fairfax City. The quality and price are great. The service and check out are proficient. The shopping cart is well managed by using ā€œquarterā€ access control. It’s a very clever and good scheme. The Fairfax store is located on the corner of Main Street and Fairfax Boulevard - a convenient site for shoppers in the areas.

Aldi: A Grocery Store That's a True Gem

In today's world of ever-increasing grocery prices, it can be tough to find a store that offers both quality and affordability. Aldi, a German discount grocery chain, has emerged as a frontrunner in this category, consistently delivering high-quality products at unbeatable prices.

Unbeatable Prices

One of the most striking aspects of Aldi is its commitment to low prices. Without the overhead costs of traditional grocery stores, Aldi is able to pass on significant savings to its customers. This is evident in the prices of everything from produce and pantry staples to household essentials and even electronics.

Quality You Can Trust

Despite its low prices, Aldi does not compromise on quality. The store's private label products, known as Aldi Finds, have consistently received high marks from consumers and independent reviews. These products often rival or even surpass the quality of name-brand counterparts, all at a fraction of the cost.

A Streamlined Shopping Experience

Aldi's shopping experience is designed to be efficient and straightforward. The store layout is simple and easy to navigate, and there are no unnecessary frills. This helps to keep prices low and allows shoppers to get in and out quickly.

Friendly and Helpful Staff

Aldi employees are known for their friendly and helpful demeanor. They are always willing to assist customers with finding products or answering questions. This contributes to the overall positive shopping experience at Aldi.

A Commitment to Sustainability

Aldi is committed to sustainability practices, both in its stores and in its sourcing of products. The company has implemented various initiatives to reduce its environmental impact, such as using energy-efficient lighting and refrigeration systems.

Aldi: A Must-Try for Budget-Conscious Shoppers

Overall, Aldi is an excellent choice for budget-conscious shoppers who are looking for quality groceries at affordable prices. The store's commitment to low prices, high-quality products, and a streamlined shopping experience makes it a true gem in the...

I have known Aldi stores from my years in Germany and was excited to see one open in Fairfax, where I live. I have been to this store about 3 times and am delighted that you offer gluten-free products. However, I am thoroughly upset with your staff and their rudeness. Your store is the only supermarket in the area where one needs a quarter to release a shopping cart. So it is not surprising that many customers are not used to this practice. It is also not surprising that you have a diverse clientele, a situation that comes with all levels of understanding and speaking English. Every time I have been in your store I have witnessed some customer being confused about the carts, unsure how to retrieve one or trying to grab the one next to the cashier’s, and each time your staff just curtly says something like, ā€œNo, you can’t have thatā€, or ā€œGo and get a cartā€. No explanation about the quarter needed to get a cart and getting the quart back once you return the cart. Not even a slowing down of the speech so that someone who is clearly not well versed in English, has a chance of understanding the response. It’s rude, it’s embarrassing and it makes for lousy customer service. All the more surprising since, as far as I have observed, your staff members are members of minority groups themselves and probably know about disrespectful behavior. I hope you will provide adequate training to your staff so that I can come back and shop without...

I love the fact that it is so cheap and that there is a wide range of healthy options. There is a lot of European produce such as cheese and charcuterie that you would pay over the odds for at Wegmans and the like and it is much more affordable. There is also a good range of European chocolates and cakes that have lower sugar levels and have to meet higher dietary restrictions due to EU law. It is all extremely affordable and half the price of other places. It is Costco prices without having to bulk buy. The downside is that the costs are kept low by employing fewer people and by getting customers through the check out at Olympic gold speed. You have to pack your own groceries and it feels like they will throw them anywhere in the cart at a 100 miles per hour. It is a shame that they take this speed service so extreme because otherwise it would be the best priced with the best range of produce. You can feed your family well on good quality and healthy options but be ready to pack your own...
