In Fairfield for a few days and visited this Cafe at the recommendation of my daughter who attends a local school. We visited in the afternoon after checking out the downtown area. The cafe is located in the square downtown. We ordered hot chocolate and croissants. Overall the cafe has a Zen like vibe where people are conversing and working on their laptops. They also sell merch, coffee beans, and a variety of very tasty baked pastries. Half the patrons believe they can fly. Everyone eventually arrives here, even though everyone is just passing through. While you linger, there's usually good conversation, often great music, and always great coffee. You're welcome to a chair. Coffee and tea and food can be bought in the smaller room. I found myself asking "what is this drink? " a lot, and the man was patient and answered my questions. It was a quiet peaceful place where customers were able to sit at a table and take their time, working on their laptops or visiting in small clusters.
