Do not call to try and speak to them....they will interupt you and not let you complete a sentence. Then when I asked please let me finish a sentence she hung up on me and blocked my number. I was not rude I simply asked to let me finish what I am saying because I could not put 2 words together before she kept speaking over me....I called and put my order in at another restaurant and will write a nice review about the different experience I had....common courtesy does not exist here....
An Absolute Hidden Gem – A Must-Visit!
La Costa Azul is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had—and that’s saying something. Tucked away just off the freeway, it’s easy to miss, but do not pass it by. It’s a short detour that rewards you with an unforgettable meal and genuinely warm hospitality.
From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed like family. Although we weren’t familiar with the menu at first and felt a bit out of place, the incredibly friendly staff went out of their way to guide us through it, with enthusiasm and kindness. Their love for the food they serve is obvious—and it’s infectious.
And the food? Wow. Every dish came out with beautiful presentation and portions that were as generous as they were delicious. The flavors were bold, authentic, and full of heart. We’re still talking about every bite!
Now, let’s talk about that michelada mixer—absolutely the best I’ve ever had. It’s no wonder it’s award-winning. We couldn’t leave without grabbing two bottles to take home so we could relive the experience just a little longer.
The staff even checked in during the meal, and their faces lit up with pride when we raved about how incredible everything was. That genuine joy and hospitality made our visit even more special.
If you’re even remotely nearby—go. Right now. La Costa Azul is a true treasure, and we can’t wait...
Read moreMy wife had a fancied a Mexican soup. We called and lucky for us they had one, so we decided to eat there.
The restaurant was clean, and modestly decorated, yet you could feel the Mexican atmosphere.
Speaking of decorations, one suggestion is to get rid of the Corona bottles filled with the radioactive looking liquid. It looked un-natural and did not make me want to grab a beer. My first instinct was to look for my portable Geiger radiation detector. Other than that The decor was nice, the restaurant was clean and the Mariachi music was playing in the background.
We judge Mexican restaurants by the quality of the salsa served with the chips that you get when you first sit down. This restaurant definitely passed the test. Plus it was obvious that they make their own delicious nachos, which is awesome.
The soup was not what my wife expected so we returned it, fearing that this would not be well received by the staff. To our surprise, they took the soup back with a smile. My wife ordered guacamole with their nachos instead. It was great. My specialty of the house burrito has lived up to the expectation as well. Our michelada was delicious, these guys really know how to make micheladas.
Overall, we had a really good experience, and we will be back next time we will...
