I love the food and the staff here. The place is very clean and they have so many different protein options now! I like how they bring smaller portions than they used to. It lets you better control how much food you get so you can get more of a variety of items without eating too much and you don't waste because you've gotten too much. The seaweed, kimchi, japchae (glass noodles on the menu), garlic soy baby octopus, squid, brisket, and especially the Hawaiian bulgogi are really good. You can pay for items a la carte or get the all you can eat.

The wait can be a bit during peak times but it's worth waiting. That said, I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes. When you come in, you check in at the kiosk and either staff calls you or you get a text when it's your turn. You have a choice of choosing your seating type or choosing any. I had one issue for the first time (but it didn't warrant removing a star): the floor was so slippery! I stood up to bring my son to the toilet and I was struggling to stay upright by the time we got to the toilets. The bottoms of my vans were so full of oil that I had to try and scrub it off with the carpets before walking on regular floors again. I have never had that issue here before so I'm not sure if someone spilled and said nothing to staff or if there was some other issue.

All in all, eat here!!!! You...

I’m a fan of Korean food and have always regarded Hot Stone as one of my top 3 Korean Bbq places. Service and food has always been great-hence the 5 star ratings for those. Sometimes, we do our own Korean bbq at home and just buy the Banchan (sides) from here. Always been satisfied-until Leasle. I called in my usual order of two banchans, expressed that we don’t like the seaweed and if they can just replace it with something else. She said they can’t do that. I then said that I order to-go all the time and this has never been an issue. Just don’t put seaweed in my order and replace it with whatever other side they have. “Oh understood.” She said. When I picked up my order, they were in small plastic to-go containers vs the regular to-go container that they ALWAYS come in with. I asked her why the size difference and she said that’s where they put the to-gos. I don’t think she understood my question because she immediately turned her back and proceeded to do something else. Being it Mother’s Day, and it’s very busy, I decided not to make a big deal of it there. But I’m posting this hoping to reach management. Leasle needs more customer...

When I have other spots to compare this to with price, quality, and service in mind this place cannot compare to the ones that I’ve been to. $28 for all you can eat.

Here’s what went wrong that they can improve to make this right: Service. They have a brilliant idea of having a bell to ring at your table that will flash your table number on a screen. However, when you ring that bell, thirty minutes pass and nothing. We had to keep reaching out to the bus boys for another round of food or napkins. They purposely turn down your heat to postpone ordering more. You know the saying when you wait a little you get fill faster? That’s their tactic here. I specifically asked if they can turn up the heat so that my shrimp could have been cooked faster so we could leave. I watched him turn it down with my own eyes.

Quality of food is not fresh. You can order only shrimp with head on and every piece of my shrimp was mushy. When shrimp is mushy it’s old.

The condiments, also not the freshest or flavorful. I don’t mind paying the price if we...

***A Real Korean’s Guide to the Best Way to Enjoy This Place! You must order the steamed egg and soft tofu stew — they’re both delicious. Start grilling with the thinly sliced beef brisket or beef belly, then move on to the pork belly. Be sure to order the lettuce and ssamjang (Korean dipping sauce) — it’s an extra dollar, but totally worth it. Grill the kimchi on the BBQ too — it pairs perfectly with the meat. The premium rib finger is chewy and flavorful, and the beef belly goes really well with the soy-based sauce (the yellow bottle one). The marinated short ribs (galbi) are also delicious. I also recommend choosing the type of protein you like best — customize it to your taste! The grill can be a little tricky — sometimes the marinade burns or the heat is hard to control, but don’t worry! The staff are super friendly and always happy to help, so just ask. If you’re not sure what to order, try following the tips I shared — you won’t be disappointed!
