This past Sunday, my dad and I wanted Popeyes. We decide on the Fairfield location instead of Suisun. Bad idea.. My dad orders a 25 piece, dark (fresh) and gets rung up for it by Beyonce. Another worker walks up and says " we don't even have a 25 piece" . To her knowledge, or lack there of, it is in Popeye's system and was pointed out by Beyonce. After about 15 minutes, I decide to stand to stretch my legs. Why all the workers behind the counter started looking worried, I don't know. As I watched the points, and whispers directed at me (the customer), I started to really pay attention. I noticed there were four(4) trays of various types of chicken. I watched as smaller orders were filled, then it was time for our 25 piece. Beyonce took 4 pieces of chicken and placed them in one of the empty trays. The cook then emptied the tray to make room for the fresh 25 piece batch. She again took 3 pieces from one of the older racks and placed them on the empty one. As I watched, she started to pick every other piece from the older racks and place them in the new one to complete the order. After 12 pieces, I stepped to the counter to ask why she was mixing old chicken with fresh chicken. She had NO answer, she stood there in disbelief as to why I would even ask such a question. Remember, that's what we ordered. After some back and fourth between my dad, Beyonce, the cook and I, it was decided fresh chicken would be made. The cook said his fryer wasn't big enough to hold our order. At this time my dad says the restaurant in Suisun is capable of fulfilling his order, no questions asked. As this is going on, the manager is walking back and fourth doing other things, not helping her workers or helping us, the paying customer. As a result, my dad and I will NEVER return to the Fairfield Popeye's. I am also spreading the word regarding their service. We expect no refund, no coupons, no gift cards, no word from Popeye's about this, so this is our outlet. Another customer walks in and asks about his order. As we didn't see him order, we figured drive through. What we didn't know was he was waiting for 20 minutes and they completely forgot he was outside where they told him to park. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visit this location about once a month. It is usually great all around. Sometimes mid afternoon we have to wait very long outside for the order. Last visit was a bad one. They forgot one of my combos even though I got the drink. And I guess they didn't hear me say I wanted five apple pies after I just asked if they have any at the moment. So going back around the drive through, I told them the problem. Turns out they didn't charge me for the pies so I went ahead and reordered. All good. At the window a couple of the workers were trying to say they are sure they packed my bags right. No. We had to go and wait out front still for the fries I think.. Got home and two of my kids' chicken sandwiches were not edible. They were rotten or something. We usually like those but this time they couldn't eat them at all. I tested one and had to spit out the bite and still got a stomach ache. My son actually ate half of his and stopped. He was in pain... My daughter, just the one bite like me. Not sure what was going on with that. Like I said those are normally great from this Popeyes and others. He had to try them again at the one in Suisun to be sure and it was fine. Weird... I might try this location again but never a chicken...

Height and slightly over weight. there may have been a miscommunication issue.. microphone issue perhaps.. but her response was "so what do u want"? In a rude manner and tone.. instead of explaining to me to speak louder or more pronounciated.. she rushed me.. there was NO long line behind me.. only me.. when i got to the front to pay she mocked my accent.. I was born here in America I might have a SLIGHT accent definitely not a thick one to cause miscommunication!! I ordered 2 meals.. with 2 sprite.. when I got home bith drinks were freakN WATER!!! how can u NOT TELL IF ITS NOT SODA? while your dispensing it? (The bubbles) duh.. it was my first time there.. I will definitely not be spending my money there.. and I will post this incident on FaceBook and twitter and other social media and YELP about my experience here... pPLEASE MANAGERS... TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES PROPERLY.. the quality of their service reflects on your management. . Stop wasting my time and money as a customer.. u guys owe me 2...
