Dive Bar — Restaurant in Fairview Heights

Decided to check out my local scene and picked this place as it's not far from my house. As the name says, it's a dive bar. Lively and jumping. I kinda felt out of place since I'm not a typical suburban trying to drink their troubles away on cheap booze over loud music, but I did find one like minded individual who was a metalhead like me and had a conversation.

If I was bored, desperately needed some social interaction, and had a limited budget I'd definitely come back. Their drink selection is good, having well known popular stuff and enough novelty that if you felt adventurous, those drinks that aren't Budweiser products wouldn't hit the pockets too badly.

Otherwise I'm chilling in the house spinning my own...

I'm visiting from Florida, for a work trip and stumbled into this locals spot. They definitely knew I wasn't a regular but the bartender Jill made sure i had a prime spot at the bar and introduced me to a few people, who then told everyone it was my birthday and it was over then. Was not my birthday but nobody cared, it was a great time!! I would love to go back if I'm ever this way again. Thanks Jill, tell Brandon (John)...

Been coming to this establishment for years. Drinks are great bartenders are fabulous always have my drink waiting when I walked in the door. It can be a short visit or even turned into all night fun bender. My tabs are always what I ordered even if buy everyone around me drinks and shots. Always a super great time. I’ll be always be...
