Fairview heights fish and chicken — Restaurant in Fairview Heights

I had a taste for some catfish nuggets and didn't want to cook them myself so I went to pops because I had their catfish fillet before. Bad decision 😪. When my order was ready I retrieved it and went home. When I got home and opened the food container, the breading on the catfish didn't look like regular fish breading, it was beige and looked like rolled oats. I tasted the fish and it had no flavor whatsoever and I couldn't idenfy what the barter was that it was cooked in. I ordered 2 of the 3 chicken strip meals. He first shorted our change, an honest mistake that he fixed when pointed out. The owner told us 4 minutes. A few other people walked in and ordered. He told them where to get their drinks so we grabbed ours too. About 20 minutes after ordering we got our meals. Yhe fries had no seasoning at all, and we didn't see salt or pepper around. We ordered two, 10 piece, whole chicken wings. 10 were plain with lemon seasoning and the other 10 wings were sweet and spicy. When we first walked in the store there was a strong odor of what smelled like raw sewage. We asked the cook what the smell was and she said that it was the sewer. We paid for our food and left the store. We only live 6 minutes from the store. The chicken wasn't hot at all. Some of the chicken was undercooked. The meat was pink near the bone.
