Harrisburg Comedy Zone — Restaurant in Fairview Township

Went to the comedy event on 25 March 2023. Paid for VIP package and sat at table 23 at the last two seats on the right facing the stage. My wife and I had been here before, so we thought the service would be good again. We received less than VIP treatment. We received our first set of drinks and wings, no problem. The waitress for our table, I believe her name was Jasmine or something close, never came back to ask if we needed anything else, but was quick to give us our bill at the end of the show. We used those little candles provided, but no one ever came to check on us. We were like, what is the purpose then.

I went to ask the waitress who was serving the tables to the right of us and behind. She looked right at me and ignored me.

We received wayyyyyyyy better service at the bar.

We love this place, but I'll be calling the management team this week.

I wanted to thank Sven for getting us tickets to this show. We had a great experience last night. I also want to send a few shout-outs to Tammy for being an awesome hostess, our waitress during the show Alexis, who consistently checked on us to make sure we had what we needed and enjoyed the show.

After the show we went to the bar area, and our waitress there was McKenzie. She really took care of my wife and I. (She was interested in the date night card question game we were playing. Please let her know that she can find them on Amazon. The ones we used so far are "Better Together and Date Deck")

I'm so glad we were able to have a great experience like we've had in the past. This confirms that the one experience was a fluke. Thank you for being professionals and providing a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

First the good. No complaints at all about the comedian, warm up acts, or the waitresses. Our view was great but there were some awkwardly-placed seats next to the stage. But hey, we weren't sitting there and it gave Josh some funny material.

It's also convenient that there's a restaurant attached but I could quickly name at least 20 better restaurants in Harrisburg and Camp Hill. It's fine for fried and heavily-sauced bar food. Our bill was so low that I checked to make sure they didn't leave something off. Glad I didn't pay more for an entree since my friend's ribeye was the thinnest steak I've ever seen. I was there because of the show, would have no reason to go there otherwise.

The seating process was a cluster and the hostess was surly. Surly is only acceptable when it comes with speed and competence. Why not let people pick seats when they buy tickets? I get that you want all the seats filled and don't want people leaving one-person spaces between them and another group, but you can make the computer system not allow that; I've seen it done.

Only bottled water is available in the club and the poor waitress had to repeat that over and over, so I'm assuming someone has yelled at her about it before. A little ridiculous but I'm not going to fault someone for wanting to make some money. Capitalism and all that. But could the water I have to pay for not be room temperature please? Also, there was a band playing on the patio right outside of the club. Again, it gave Josh a funny joke but come on.

Overall 3.5 stars but Google won't let me give half stars. Had a fun night with a couple of customer...

To start, we come here a few times a year. We attended the show this evening. And as usual, the talent was very good. The service however, worst I've ever had there. Got seated 20 minutes before showtime. After 15 minutes and seeing the one server go back & forth to the front section three times. I went and got our own round of drinks (which was done efficiently) a server showed up later (which we already had our drinks) and promised to check back with us. Second act is up, our server stops at pretty much everywhere else but us. (Glasses empty) even later, the host circulates and asks is everything okay. Except for us. Finally at last call server takes our order. Brings me the check even before I got the drink. Maybe instead of returning we'll just go down to 2nd street...
