The man who claimed to be the “manager” called the police on a police officer after illegally confiscating and withholding a “fake” (New York State) I.D. Following this event, the manager stated that regardless of being returned the I.D and the police confirming it to be real, the officer was no longer allowed to return to “Buy Rite Liquors” ever again and would be banned from further business. Stating “never come back because you are not welcome”. Our event was ruined due to the delay. Management requires better training in regards to identifying and recognizing I.D’s. The establishment being a liquor store should also have an I.D scanner if they decide to withhold proper training...

Here's my summary:

Good: Good selection of liquor, wine, beer. Not the best, but good. Good prices - trust me, I've shopped around and compared Growlers to go! I loved this, and I hope they bring it back soon.

Less Good: Almost non-existent selection of abbey-ales. I like my abbey-ales so this is a negative for me Beer selection is basically "US mainstream" or "US craft" - I would like to see a larger selection of "international mainstream" There's a ton of traffic around their location - hard to get in and out of the store parking lot!

I usually buy most of my liquor at this place. Today on Father's day I went in to buy a bottle of Johhny Walker blue for my father in law. I walked in and there are over 30 people on line. I waited 25 minutes to check out. When I got to the window I asked the girl, why don't you open up a second line? Well that was too easy.... she made a comment the other two men there just dismissed. Poor management earned them a single star on this visit. Next time show your customers some respect. Remember your the ones who pay to send out advertisement to increase your business. Hey!
