Received partial refund for a churrasco meal I ordered for take out. I ordered a medium well churrasco and it came out well done. The churrassco came with maduros and bean and I started with the sides first but when I got to the meat it wasn’t tender or medium well. I immediately called for a solution and was told I would be able to receive a refund if I go to return the meat. THEY ONLY ASKED FOR THE MEAT. In my head, I’m thinking I would receive a full refund for the churrasco meal for the inconvenience. I go the next day and I am told that since I did not return the whole meal, I would only receive a refund for the meat. Unbelievable. I ordered food for take out to go home and enjoy a nice meal.. not to get something thats basically not edible and waste time going back and forth.
First of all, it is crazy to me that I have to go back waste gas to return the meat when they have their own delivery cars to pick up their own mistakes.
Second, do they not think about the inconvenience they have caused? I’ve worked at a restaurant and I understand mistakes can be made but thats when customer service comes in and when you try to make everything right. Since there was a language barrier I could not speak up for myself and just let it slide. I ordered the AREPA CON QUESO Y HUEVOS EN CACEROLA which is Sunny side up eggs with melted cheese corn cake & maduros.
They made my order FOUR TIMES! I should’ve just left by then.
First time my order came out the eggs were extremely over cooked. They took my plate back, second time my eggs were again over cooked. They’re supposed to be runny! Not solid all the way through.
Third times a charm right? WRONG! My eggs come out undercooked - unbelievable! Eggs are the easiest thing to make.
To paint a picture, there were all about 3 other People besides myself in the restaurant who sat down AFTER me. At this time they’ve already gotten their food.
The manager comes out and apologizes and asks that I give them a 4th chance. By this time everyone around me has received and eaten all their food. I’ve been waiting over 25 minutes.... for eggs.
Fourth time the eggs come out - they’re not perfect, runny on the top, over cooked on the bottom - by this time I didn’t care. I was starving.
My order was all of $7 + tax. When the bill came the manager took off for “employee discount” $1.40 Are you kidding?!!! I’d pay quadruple the amount if the food has just come out correct. This dish should’ve been on the house - 100% lack of hospitality.

I have been to several Noches de Colombia and this location is my favorite one by far. First, the service is always quick and the waiters check up on you to make sure you are ok. Second, the portions here are humongous. You will definitely have leftovers to take home and enjoy for a second meal. Third, they have bottles of pink sauce on the table so you can put as much as you want on your food. At other locations, you have to ask for the sauce and they will only give you a small little container each time. Additionally, no other Noches has given me enough food for more than one meal. I am always satisfied with the portions at this location.
When I ordered a side of fries, I thought it would be a "side". Little did I know I would get a giant order that was enough to share with the entire table. My second side I chose was Yuca fries. Again, I got a portion big enough to share with everyone.
A few weeks ago, I ordered takeout from here due to the pandemic, since there is currently no dining option. I was hoping that the portions would still be the same as when you dine in. I was very happy to see that this was the case and I received a huge portion with enough for a second meal.
