La Fortuna — Attraction in Fairview

It all started with the gentlemen came in the room to see our decorations and he was nice at the beginning but than he came back and started complaining of our tables decorations, why rent a place when you gonna be told how to decorate, he was nagging about it, so we ignored him. As he continued being nasty, I pointed to him that he should worry about all the glassware that were dirty and gathered all the glasses that still had lipstick and lips marks on it, which is super gross!!!!!!! He got upset even more but you can tell he was embarrassed, he had to change them all! We left came back to the party and he was still nagging about the plates, that my sister had no choice but to rearrange the tables again before party started! If you pay for place why do you have to decorate according to what they like, and why should you be seeing yourself having to point fingers of how dirty glasswares are n utensils! Floors are extremely stained, the guy that gathered all the jackets than left, he disappeared! so if people decided to leave earlier than expected, they literally had to walk in to get their jackets, and scroll thru the whole walking closet for your jacket! The food was blah for the high price that was being charged! The only thing I can say about the place is that the guys that do valet parking were super great and so did the two gentlemen that catered the party, because that old man I’m assuming he is the owner the one nagging is such a huge pest! Bathroom were super dirty they don’t even have someone cleaning them, constantly, I wouldn’t recommend this place never and again! On October 14th Jose and Sara booked to get married at 8pm by the justice of the peace. The woman owner over booked that day and at 7:37pm they were excorting the guest from a wedding that had been given that room for cocktail hour. Friends and family members were sweating in their gowns and suits to decorate. It wasnt until 8:14 that guest were allowed in together with the justice of the peace that was very understanding. Half the guest had to wait 15 minutes for food to be taken out. A $500 cake was crumbed because the waitors did not know how to cut it; and what little cake had been savaged and served was thrown out untouched while guest were dancing. The service was not at all how i had imagined. And the politness and kind attitude had turned into arrogance...

Horrible. Me and my husband had our very first baby shower ever and when we changed dates they told us a certain time and winded up switching it up on us on the day of. They threw our family out like animals, asking for another $300 for 30 mins more. It was the MOST uncomfortable feeling ever. They absolutely ruined our first experience on our baby shower I will never ever go to this place or recommend it to anyone. No one deserves to be rushed or kicked out of our own party that had been fully paid for...
