Let me start by saying 2 days later I am still dreaming of the food I had at Surf and Turf Grill. The atmosphere, service, and of course the food was top notch! We were pleasantly surprised by warm welcome from the moment we stepped inside the restaurant. We started with one of the best appetizers I ever had, char-grilled Octopus, you will not be disappointed. The char-grilled Octopus came with beautiful bed of arugula salad delicious mixed with red vine vinegar with dill, salt and black pepper. Pacanga Borek came with cheese and pastirma (delicious and burst of flavor). We also got Shepard salad, fresh, light, and tons of flavors. Don't forget to ask for a Shrimp Casserole which is Shrimp with eggplant and cheese. You will not regret that choice. For the main course we went with Mediterranean Durado and Mediterranean Branzino, as well as Beef Shish Kebab made from filet mignon. Zoka is definitely one of the best restaurants in New Jersey. Especially if you want to try Turkish cuisine. You'll find the chance to try authentic Turkish mezes(some kind of appetizer). Usually when people heard Turkish cuisine all they think about is kebab or doner but it's more than that and you can see it in Zoka. It has one of the most popular street food 'kokoreç'. Also paçanga börek, cacik and etc. As a person who lives in Turkey and always eating these dishes I can say that some of them are better than in Turkey. And it's also a family restaurant and you can feel it. staff are friendly, they care their customers, it's not just a business. All vegetables and fishes are fresh.
