So many issues here, I don't know where to start. The parking guy was extremely rude when I asked if their was an ATM nearby so I could go withdraw some cash (he thought I was trying to go to the beach). The restaurant had a chained off entrance. We stood in front of the chain, saw people eating inside, but no one came to help us for at least 10 minutes. Some locals showed up after us and they immediately seated them. Finally I asked someone to help us and they seated us. We placed an order for food. After waiting 1 hour, we told our waiter our food hasn't come out yet. We waited another 15 minutes or so and she brought us our check. We indicated again our food hasn't even arrived yet, why are you bring us the check? Waited around another 15 minutes and food came out. So much wasted time. The waiter was horrible never came to check on us. My mofongo tasted very strange. There was what I can only describe as a rubbing alcohol taste to it. I could not eat it. I asked for our check and to pay via credit card. Under these circumstances, I had every intention of tipping zero percent. The waiter however knew this and hit the "Tip 18% button" on the console. She tipped herself with my credit card. I didn't want to make a scene, so my wife and I just left. Horrible experience. I would say non-locals just stay away from this place. Service is horrible, food...
Read moreIf you're looking for a beach side seafood restaurant with the best drinks in the world, look no further than this hidden gem. I recently visited this place and was blown away by the signature cocktail, the Parcha-mojito.
The Parcha-mojito is a refreshing twist on the classic mojito, with a tropical twist of passion fruit that gives it a unique flavor. It's perfectly balanced and goes down smoothly, making it the perfect drink to sip on a hot day by the beach. But the drinks are just the beginning. The seafood at this restaurant is also top-notch. From the fresh ceviche to the grilled octopus, every dish is bursting with flavor and expertly cooked. And the views? They're absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. It's casual yet upscale, with a beachy vibe that makes you feel like you're on vacation even if you're just there for a quick drink. And the fact that it's right on the beach means that you can take a stroll in the sand after your meal and soak up the stunning views. Overall, if you're looking for a beach side seafood restaurant with the best drinks in the world, this place is an absolute must-visit. The Parcha-mojitos alone are worth the trip, but the seafood and views are an added bonus that make it truly...
Read moreThis was a difficult rating to make. I don't normally give a 2 star rating. Let's cover this place. The atmosphere is perfect. Beautiful. Great views. A joy to eat here based on the atmosphere. The service was OK. The waiter was nice. He did what he was supposed to do. For the most part. The timing of the food was definitely off. We got our food at different times. As in, we got our al carte after we finished our main dish. I feel as if he had forgotten. Now the food. The fish tacos were decent. A solid 3.5 star with the presentation, the right batter on the grouper, the flour tortillas, their fresh salad on top and fresh limes. This would be worthy to get again. The hamborgesa con queso was definitely a disappointment. Cooked frozen burger patties that took way too long to cook. They were way overdone. The fries were frozen fries. Not fresh. I've had a better meal from a gas station. The arros' mampos was very good. Something i would enjoy having again. The mango margarita was seriously lacking. We all questioned if there was even tequila in it. Overall. Great view for a perfect day. The possibility of a good star rating that was lost to lazy mediocre food and beverages. I hope this place does something better. If they do. I would...
