I hate to be the one with the bad review. So trust me when I say I’m one who looks to assess any situation. Yet this Pizza Hut was unbelievably in lack of so much and I will explain further! To start my family had a long morning and had arrived to the Fajardo Pizza Hut on a Tuesday afternoon 1/17/23 walked in at 2:25pm with my mom and was greeted by an employee sitting down behind the register slash host table. Where the employee continued sitting down took our order and as I was being charged immediately asked how much I would want to leave for the tip! I’m sorry no where state side over seas no where at all have I ever encountered this that’s just not a way to treat a customer I of course tipped but I had not been sat nor served for her to have asked for a tip !! So this employee then proceeded to tell us from her chair to sit a the booth closer to the door no problem you can forget being courteous and walking us to the assigned sittings area! But nevertheless that wasn’t an inconvenience to me it’s just my question was you asked for tip ? For what ? Mind you we ordered the buffet thinking quick fast we could eat and continue our mission well sadly we walk over to the food area buffet area to be more general and they only have two kinds pizza one had a ham topping the other was a cheese topping and not much left at that as there was another table with a party of 4. They had broccoli soup Mac and cheese the salad which my husband asked I take a picture of the lettuce they actually had out poor quality over all disappointing to say the least ! We ate what was left there of course what looked more appealing. But that was not the end of all as I walk to the back table where they kept the plates small bowls etc I picked up a small bowl for the soup and the bowl it self was dirty! I walked over to the same one employee sitting in the front and gave her the bowl and told her the issue I was then only asked if I had needed more of the bowls! I was in utter disbelief and disappointment especially when we frequently eat at Pizza Hut in NJ ,CT anywhere we go and find one. Disappointed by far this was the worst establishment I’ve ever been in ! El pasado 15 de marzo de 2025, visité Pizza Hut de Fajardo con mi familia para celebrar los logros académicos de mis hijos. Al llegar a las 5:40 p.m., nos sorprendió gratamente la remodelación del local, con un diseño más moderno y juvenil. Sin embargo, nuestra experiencia con el servicio dejó mucho que desear.
Ordenamos unos palitroques familiares con queso como aperitivo, pero tardaron más de 40 minutos en llegar, y cuando finalmente lo hicieron, estaban casi fríos, al igual que la salsa marinara. A pesar de la larga espera, decidimos darles una oportunidad y pedimos nuestra orden principal. Para nuestra sorpresa, varias mesas que llegaron después de nosotros recibieron sus pedidos antes.
A las 7:05 p.m., después de más de una hora de espera sin respuesta clara sobre nuestra comida, decidí pagar únicamente lo consumido y cancelar el resto del pedido. Al momento de pagar, nuevamente hubo demora, y fue solo entonces que finalmente apareció nuestra orden, pero ya era demasiado tarde.
Entiendo que pueden ocurrir imprevistos en cualquier restaurante, pero la falta de comunicación y la evidente desorganización hicieron que nuestra celebración terminara en una experiencia frustrante. Ojalá Encanto Restaurants, operador de Pizza Hut en Puerto Rico, tome medidas para mejorar el servicio y la experiencia del cliente.
