I attempted to order one beer with my completely valid Illinois state ID. The man helping me didn't recognize the ID, proceeded to flip through a book of photo IDs from different states, then told me my license was fake, confiscated it from me, and informed me he would be calling the police. I told him I would be willing to wait while police arrived. Instead, he talked to a manager who glanced at my card and nodded. He returned with the card and told me he would not be serving me.
