This location is run like some kind of sick joke, which is surprising because every other location is taking the virus seriously. Most locations understand that limited contact is extremely important, treating all customers and delivery drivers with the same respect when it comes to the importance of their life, this location does not. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker like you do at all other locations so you can pick up your order via the shielded window and never have to make any contact with the building or go into a closed space, it is the best option and requires the least contact for both parties. But instead of being told to pull up to the 2nd window, I was told to come inside. "Really?". And they reconfirmed that yes I would have to. Just to remind you, I'm trapped behind customers, and that there is no real reason for me to go inside. So I ask again, why they can't just give it to me like every other location, they told me to wait, pull around and then come inside, so I asked what their dysfunction was? Silence. I pull around to the second window after waiting for the cars in front of me, there is no way I'm exposing myself and entering a building that is obviously run by idiots. The order is ready, but they are refusing to pass it through the window. I asked to speak to a manager, and was told by the manager that it's a policy that comes from above her and there is nothing they can do about it. There is no defendable reason for this policy beyond ignorance and pride. Absolutely ridiculous, so I tell them I'm not moving until they give it to me, I will not expose myself, and that I'm in the process of reporting them. Within 30 sec I receive the food. Play games with my life, you will lose every time. They then had the nerve to tell me that I need to come in next time. HOW DARE YOU be annoyed with me caring about whether my family and the families I deliver to live or die. 3rd party is not 2nd class, you're setting yourself up for a real nice law suit, or a great news story. The virus is serious, change the policy, because I'll do the same thing next time, until it gets thru that thick skull. Obviously the management is either some kind of scum narcissist control freak, or a dullard virus denier who's only doing the minimum because they have to. They've trained the staff to act without common sense, or to even care about right or wrong. Other stores have it down, get the memo or get...
Read moreFor a time now, I had been mislead to believe that this franchise location had improved. And the schedule and "food" "quality" had actually been tolerable since about last year.
Today, I nearly got scammed and felt compelled to mention it.
Pricing on "all sizes" drinks are listed at $1.39 (ONLY $.39 more than it has been for years, thanks Biden) on the menu.
Today, I ordered my food and a large Arnold Palmer, probably the most popular non soda drink ordered in Colorado... But i digress....
To my surprise and utter astonishment, as i was driving from the menu, I noticed the charge for my large half and half with unde unsweet tea and lemonade was a whopping $2.99!!!! And I'm not evenat a liquor bar!!!
I asked about this whenI got to the first window. The kid, who was very polite, said they have to charge $2.99 because it is a special ordered drink.
I spoke to manager at the second window. He tried rationalizing it to me.
Having managed in customer service for over two decades, my managerial mindset could not fathom how half unsweet tea, probably from a bag in box and tal half lemonade DEFINITELY from a bag in box, in one 32 oz cup costs MORE than one large lemonade ($1.39) and one large unsweet tea ($1.39) = $2.78 total; yet they are actually charging $2.99!!!!!
If ANYONE from McDonald's corporate wonders why sales are slumping heavily, it is exactly things like this.
There isabsolutely ZERO justification of this math and you are insulting the intelligence of your customers!!!
I order this drink at EVERY single place i go, because i do not drink soda, at the normal rate. Literally everywhere, without getting gouged. Chick-fil-a doesn't charge extra, neither does anyone else.
When i pushed the criticism with the manager, his response was the same response that the guards at the Nuremberg trials gave.... That they were just following the rules set by the company.... What about the customers you are fleecing?!?!?! Do customers not have a say? Someone to speak on their behalf or act in their best interests?
This is dumb. And with the pricing higher than Whataburger, in and out, and chick-fil-a. .. I'm thinking I'll just go support them with my money.
AND.... They forgot my damned chicken nuggets!!! But they sure as hell didn't forgot to overcharge me for them too... So yeah, I guess i got stolen from after all.
Avoid...
Read moreWe have had nothing but problems with this location. The service is always terrible. It takes forever to get through the drive through and the lobby is even longer, if it's even open. There has been several times the lobby has been locked before closing time. Our orders are never right, and they always look like they were just thrown in the bag. The sandwiches are smashed and the fries are spilled. Most of the time the fries aren't even half way full. They constantly forget parts of our orders, so we have to wait in line again to get them fixed. When we ask to fix the problem we are met with aditude. There has been several time while waiting in the drive through and have had to listen to extremely foul language coming from the staff through the window. That is extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. This most recent visit to this location was just the cherry on top...
My husband and I had been out shopping and decided that Mcdonalds was going to be faster the going home and cooking. We split up when we ordered so we could both use our rewards. I went inside and he stayed in the drive through with our toddler. He was asked to wait to order when he pulled up to the box amd waited there for 15 minutes while other people were able to order. He had to pull up to the window to order. He order was not correct. They forgot one of his sandwiches. Instead of a getting the item, they refunded him without asking if he wanted the sandwich. He asked for no lettas, and they put extra lettas, and they gave him the wrong drink. During this time, our toddler was hungry and had a complete meltdown because it was taking so long. I waited inside for thw food I ordered. They forgot the happy meal, and gave me additude when I pointed it out. The service was slow. The food was poorly put together. The burgers were so dry they just fell apart. It was awful. I understand thay they were busy, but I have never been to a location where the service was this terrible. We are extremely disappointed. We have tried so many times to see if the staff is better handed and the experience is better, but nothing has changes. Its getting worse in fact. We will no longer be going to this location and be taking our business to other fast...
