Dominican Restaurant — Restaurant in Fall River

The experience:

At the time of service, this cozy quick service family restaurant was busy requiring help from the kitchen to manage the line. With that being said, the focus was on the flow of patrons to quickly reduce the line. Nonetheless, there was a good vibe as diners appeared to be enjoying themselves.

There is limited seating should one choose to dine in.

The food:

The white rice and beans were good. The rice was cooked well and the beans were flavorful- I appreciated the sauce not being watery. The oxtails were tender but very under seasoned- the flavor of the gravy carried the dish.

The potato salad tasted more in line with industry standard vs Dominican style. The fried pork belly had the signature crunch and tender meat. The Jamaican style beef patties were too greasy and lacked flavor. Tasted like a discounted freezer item dunked in hot oil. The Mongu was okay and paired nicely with the pickled onions.

The Value:

There are selections for every budget. In my opinion, pricing and portions align with the current market.

Came here awhile back and was dissappointed but, i heard from a friend that the Dominican restaurant was under new ownership and management so i decided to give them one more try from previous bad experiences. All in all food was great i got the mulgoon w/onions, chicharonnes, poilo(chicken), and some beef and chicken empanadas that me and my lady both shared and everything was delicious and cooked the traditional Dominican way im accustomed to around here. I love the food I’ve been here plenty of times and everytime the workers are extremely rude I put a order in door dash even the customer support called the place told them hey she payed for the food and they refused to give me my food because they dont know how to properly work the doordash then they continued to speak in Spanish thinking i didn’t understand calling me a liar I didn’t pay for the food and laughing at me EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE again love there food but will never step foot back into this place...
