Boba With Mi — Restaurant in Falls Church

I wanted to try out this new Vietnamese boba shop but I am beyond disappointed that I gave this place a chance. Based on my visit, the new ownership is terrible. The drinks were decent but the food… it was horrible. The drink I ordered was the Viet Coffee Frappe which came out immediately after I paid, but the food took so long to come out. By the time I finished my drink the food had just come out. Additionally, I saw an older woman dressed in a staff uniform, sitting with a rowdy group which was most likely her friends. There were also children running in and out behind the counter?? Based on the other reviews, other people have had the same experiences as me and I just wanted to speak my truth. I went here for their grand opening and it was nothing like I expected. I generally found the service and overall "vibe" of this place pretty unappealing. I ordered some banh tran nuong and it took a really long time to come out, while the drinks did come surprisingly quick (which is a plus?). I felt like the toppings were overpriced, but that could just be me. Also, I noticed that the whole place was really disorganized and I'm pretty sure I heard someone (the manager?) yelling at one of the workers, which is a bit unprofessional.. We were customers of this store before and were excited to see it reopen under new ownership! The renovation gives the space a warm and airy feel- much more inviting and a great hang out space.

They were absolutely slammed on their grand opening day, but we still got our drinks quickly, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. It was evident they were putting a lot of care into making a good experience for everyone.
