Super friendly staff, provided the blackened chicken breast and piping hot fries I requested. All employees were friendly and polite and acted like they care. The chicken was 7.5, the fries 6.0 . King Pollo on van Dorn is a 5.0 for both. Being Hispanic With a wife that cooks fabulous Hispanic food I am spoiled. Beats most chicken places within 50 miles except for Pollo Rico in Kenmore street, arlington, They are 10.0 for both. Been living in Northern Va for 35 years and they are still King. But I live in Kingstowne and don’t want to drive 30 minutes each way. The chicken is very well and completely cooked, zero blood, skin nice and crispy. Needs a bit more seasoning. More pepper and adobo. I don’t use the sauces, if you do, you will probably be fine. I do recommend the place over any chicken place within 10 miles, and better than most outside that. The fries are a bit thin for steak fries, not too much taste to them. Best eaten while fresh hot. My second aide was fried rice for a dollar more, but rice was just meh. Not getting rice again. So, ordered from Spin Pollo via Grubhun at 4:27 PM, Ordered 1/2 Chicken, Dark Meat, with two sides. I picked Steamed Veggies and Pasta Salad The Grubhun driver picked it up pretty quickly and it got to me a little after 5 PM. For a place that is 17 minutes away that’s not bad. The Chicken was GREAT. I ate half of it before I even tried out the sauces. And that is the sign of GREAT chicken. When you don’t need to add anything. The Steamed Veggies were good too. Some people might think they are bland but I like Steamed Veggies and they’re good for you. And a lot of the time I think Pasta Salad is bland. And, yes, I was surprised. The Pasta Salad was very good tasting. To be honest there is only one place near me that made good Pasta Salad and now I found a second place. Also, on top of all that, I got a free delivery on my first order so I didn’t have to pay full price. But to be honest I think if all their dishes taste this good I won’t mind full price. ...

This past weekend I attempted to use one of the delivery services, Grub Hub, to order dinner from Spin Pollo, which is about 1/2 mile from my house. I placed the order about 6pm. I called Spin Pollo several times because the delivery time kept being delayed. I spoke with German who was very helpful. When Grub Hub canceled my order for unknown reasons, I used Uber Eats at the recommendation by German and placed my order at about 8:30pm. Because of my troubles, German included a treat with my dinner - yuquita balls. Uber Eats delivered within 30 minutes. The food was fantastic! I go for the white meat and it was juicy and delicious. The yuquita balls were great! I was so happy with my dinner from Spin Pollo and the great delivery service by Uber Eats that I ordered again Wednesday evening!
