Captain Saigon Seafood — Restaurant in Falls Church

My wife and I were so happy to have been there at Captain Saigon Seafood. A few days later, I invited a good friend so he could try it out. We liked it so much we went back there three more times. My wife and I have been to as many good restaurants as we could find in the Northern Virginia area. We've eaten at all of the restaurants at the Eden Center. Captain Saigon Seafood is now our most favorite restaurant of all. Besides the meticulous attention in preparing the food, the many extra sauces they had there would make each piece of the food taste wonderfully different, varied by the way you could choose which sauce went with which bite by gently dipping the tip of the fork into a sauce and into your mouth after the bite. The place was very clean and unpretentious. The servers were gentle, polite, courteous, and friendly. Service, food, and outdoor patio, coupled with great weather. This made for the perfect lunch stop while exploring town on my bicycle.

I got the pork vermicelli platter. It was evident that all ingredients were fresh, including the pork. The pork was amazing. It had the perfect crispy skin that only crisps up properly when it has never been frozen. The accompanying chili sauce was made on site of fresh ingredients as well.

The serving size is generous and price reasonable. I could have gotten two meals from the serving size. All together with a beer, i couldn't have asked for a better meal at the $20 range.

On 8/14, I made an order for blue crabs using the website linked on google. When I got there, a person who looked like the manager told me they were out of blue crabs. I asked what about snow crab, and they were out of that too. Disappointing but understandable, so I just asked for a refund. He said no problem. I also told him to fix the website because it was obviously letting you place orders on items that weren’t available. He seemed a little annoyed, but he said okay. 3 days later, my credit card has been charged and never refunded. Be wary making online orders here!
