The service is awful. The owners are incredibly rude. Not sure why they think they’re better than customers.
I was Getting my purchase together and i asked how much of a purchase in order to get a free soy milk cart, the women I believe she’s a wife of Hai, she was like responded in such a rude demeanor: “you don’t come here?” I was like ..”I do- and all the time” then she was like.. “if you come here often, why didn’t you know how much in order to get the soy milk cart?” I was half embarrassed half was stunned not knowing why I was being yelled at. Confusingly I said: “well, I’m just asking” but i wish I could have responded worse.
The owner, old lady, the mother I don’t see her often as recently but she used to scream at thei employees in front of customers I used feel so awkward and bad for them. But then she turn around and got really loud with customers as they used not to cards but only cash. She does cashier thing so she’s like “no card okkk!!! Cash only I’m telling you!!!!” Oh boy!
One time- I asked for a plastic cup, the young brother, he told me .25c. I said “well, I jsut bought bunch of stuffs worth over 50 bucks for deserts. He showed so cold. He’s like 25cents! The way they talk is so rough and rubbish. I used to take it as it was ok but recently my family and I decided to stop buying their stuffs. It’s like Vietnamese privilege jsut because they’re doing well bu ripping off with prices for their Vietnamese dressers. They have privilege in the community which very well supportive of their place and Vietnamese business in general in Eden mall.
They should be ashamed of themselves as business owner for always throwing up such rude disgusting behavior while customers are the ones supporting and making them rich. All that to top on the over prices for every item they have and each item is made with a very cheap, rip off cooking style, unvalued, watery, and slim materials, I don’t think I ever come back or...
Read moreWe are constant visitors of this store. I was there to purchase tofu for my wife on October 30 at 1:56 pm. I noticed that the container that their server put the tofu had some stain on it, so I tried to tell her about it. I tried to tell her twice and she could not understand what I said. she asked a gentleman behind the cashiers over. I tried to explain to him again. That particular container probably was used to put tofu for another customers and maybe they changed their minds, the tofu was put back to the shelf and the container was reused. He told me that they were all tofu. I told him that it could be BBQ tofu. Recently, my wife has a death in the family and she has adapted a no meat diet for 30 days although I did not tell him about it, so I did not want anything with meat. He replied with an anger tone "we will make you another one , Sir". Then, he continued saying that I yelled at him. I told him that I need to talk louder because of the TV and people noise, but he still insisted that I yelled at him. When I reminded him that I am a customer, he replied that a customer had no right to yell. This store is so successful that they forgot the basic of customer services. I have worked in the retail business. When customers show an angry tone, we don't respond the same way. We simply do what it is needed to take care of the customers. If we reply with an angry tone, we could be fired right there. Of course, when they are members of the owner family, they can choose to do whatever they want. However, don't forget that the customers can choose not...
Read moreWhile the food is good here, the customer service is bad. The Latino women helpers are good, but the Vietnamese women have an awful attitude. I'm paying for the food.... not paying for bad attitude.
Vietnamese Lady tried to help me, but was on the phone and then kept saying she'd be back to help me. Meanwhile 4 people behind me are being helped and out- processed while I'm still standing there after over 5 minutes.
I seek a different helper. This must have upset the original lady for some reason.....I asked the original lady for ONE serving of the tofu. She prepped 3 and then accused me of lying when I told the cashier I only ordered 1. I told her that maybe if she paid more undivided attention to the customer in front of her, then she wouldn't have messed up the order. She then starts screaming at me.... the owner lady also starts mouthing off defending her worker.
Talk about TERRIBLE customer service. Like a few other reviews on here day, we're not begging for free food to get your bad attitude. Paying REPEAT customer here over the years and this is the customer service I get when you're have a bad day??
Also, last few times, ginger tofu has been gritty texture.... should be super smooth like always. I give them the benefit of doubt.
And the fried tofu a few times is over fried and too dry. It's only happened a few times, but when you're paying $50 for your order, you don't want messed up food from a place that specializes in this...
