Mediterranean Chicken — Restaurant in Falls Church

I wanted to try the place out since it came up in my app. My 3 person family were the only ones in there on Sat. night for dinner, strange. The place is small and had no A/C so it was hot from the open kitchen. The person taking orders barely knew English and didn't know the menu. I asked to sub fries for grilled veggies he didn't know what I was saying so the owner stepped in and said they didn't have veggies tonight, which I thought was odd. I wanted to order the chicken Shawarma plain so the owner told me the sandwich will be small because of no toppings. If I wanted to add more meat, he made up a price of an additional $5, the sandwich cost $7.99. Instead of ordering the combo kabob for my wife, I figured they'd have no grilled veggies so we decided to leave because it was sketchy and I had beads of sweat coming down my face because it was so hot. I like this place so much that I decided to write my first online review! I have been 3 times in the last 6 months and it is so delicious and fair prices for the portions and quality. I have tried the chicken shawarma sandwich, chicken kabob, kibbeh platter, and some of the mezze salads - all very fresh, good quality meat, and amazing flavors with perfect level of spice. Last night I tried the chicken tagine and it took me to heaven! The tall gentleman (owner?) is always so nice and makes great recommendations. He gave us mint tea last time while we waited for takeout.

If you are getting takeout, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes, they make it all fresh so...
