Cavalier Trail Park — Attraction in Falls Church

It's a solid park to add to the rotation of parks to visit so one doesn't get too stale. This isn't an "OMG YES LET'S GO" kind of park but it has all the makings of a good day outdoors.

1. There's a shaded playground with two slides, one a twisty slide. 2) There are swings. 3) There's a little bridge over a creek that you can race leaves. 4) There's a basketball court and a tennis court.

Con- no bathroom. Common in parks but will prevent anywhere from having 5 stars.

Pickleball courts are by reservation only and nets are locked up when not in use. Tennis/pickleball courts are often reserved by Falls Church City residents during prime hours, so check the area for other open play, first-come first-serve courts if that is what you are looking for.
