Boxers — Restaurant in Faribault

I'm a local so I've been visiting Boxers for years now. Breakfast, dinner and occasionally drinks. A few weeks ago I went out and had drinks at 10,000 Drops and then I walked over to Boxers where I had 3 drinks and they charged my cc three times. By the third time, I was a bit ticked off because each time, the bartender was very familiar with me as a local. But instead of apologizing, Jo called the bouncer over who walked me out peacefully. This last weekend I had dinner there and on my way out, I stopped by Jo at the bar handed her a $20 and said, "I know I was upset and I don't want her to think I was mad and I didn't want her to to be mad at me". She graciously took the 20 and agreed. My cousin and I went to 10,000 drops, had a few and walked back to Boxers where I was stopped by their check point and another bartender Hailey told them I couldn't come in. I motioned the bouncer over and asked him if I caused him any trouble the last time I was here and he said no. Now, I could see if I was belligerent and had no reason to be mad and while I was being kicked out I caused a scene and acted harshly why they would ban me. But I had a reason to be ticked off, but I wasn't over the top and as the bouncer came over I peacefully walked out. I think it's pretty sad that A. You don't seem to care about paying customers and B. You serve alcohol and don't seem to have even the slightest of tolerance that you would expect from such a notoriously violent bar. 11/11/20: A good friend of mine is positive that she contracted covid from here during Halloween weekend. She hadn't been out for months because of her pregnancy. She went on Halloween, she said no one was wearing a mask. She tested positive a few days later. She said there was a big outbreak and they shut down the establishment for a week. They reopened today which isn't a long enough quarantine time. They aren't even on the list of Minnesota restaurants that have had cases. My friend told me more than 30 people there got it, not to mention the staff who is probably still infected. She wrote a comment on their facebook page about her concerns and they deleted it. Be careful y'all. I'd avoid this place...

I go there with my girlfriend to dance and have some drinks. I just moved to town so i dont know anyone and last night, while dancing with my girl some RANDOM guy sucker punches me in the jaw from the back. Completely unprevoked i might add, and not only do I get told to settle down by the bouncers when im just trying to figure out what the hell happened and why but they dont even escort this clearly blacked out guy out of the bar. I feel completely disrespected by the staff and dont feel safe going to this var anymore because clearly there is no rules or concequences for...
