Granted this was my first time coming back to Deweys after about 5 years. Since that time they had closed the doors and seemed to be bought by a different owner. My order consisted of ond double cheeseburger, one order of fries, and one lemon milkshake, all of which cost 20 dollars for one person. The burger was dry with no flavor at all, the fries were also dry and over salted, and the milkshake was sook thick in consistency that it was basically soft serve in a cup. Service side of things wasn't great either, standing there for around 20 - 25 mins for a 20 dollar order seemed very frustrating and watching people get food that was placed after my order became even more unorganized. All this said if you are stopping through I'd recommend stopping at Good Spirits or just traveling 7 more mins to Mahomet or Leroy to grab a meal at a chain. Sadly Deweys with their outrageous prices, poor quality of food and deplorable service will not spark into what it once was and diminish once again unless...
Read moreThis place use to be good food for being a tad high. That being said after hearing it was back open after being closed down for a couple seasons we figured we would swing by and grab dinner. Pulled up and seen the sign cash only well it an inconvenience but I had 67 bucks on me and thought we are good boy was I wrong 4 double cheeseburgers and fries and three small shakes and a small coke later it was time to pay the bill over 80 dollars. I had to ask twice the amount. Having said that I had to ask my wife if she had any cash only here, luckily she did and we were good there. Then we got the food while our burgers were decent sized, they were flavorless burgers. At almost 9 bucks a piece they should have been on point. With what we paid for dinner we could have went to a fancier sit down restaurant and got way better food and not had to fight the mats hanging all over. At this rate this place will be lucky to make it. Which is a shame it use to be a great place to stop and grab...

I love little places like this hidden in rural towns. We (in Clinton) used to have a place similar called Rudy's and nothing has compared to that same level of small-town burger kitchens like Dewey's does.
My fiance introduced me here a few months ago for the first time and I've been back 3 or 4 more times since. The location may take a bit to cook your food, but because it's to order, fresh, and AMAZING. Their multiple flavors of ice cream and weekly flavor specials are one of a kind for a place like this. Love the dreamsicle flavored shake!
Please, don't pass this one up! Expect an honest wait time of around 10 minutes for a typical meal with drinks, ice cream and shakes being...
