Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Farmers Branch

Came back into Texas after 8 years of being in California. Along with me was my boyfriend from the uk who had never had taco bueno.

His card is a UK card and must be run as credit prerty much everywhere here- taco bueno apparently "does not have this ability."(every other place we've been does.) We had to go to the atm and it took a bit, so... being my first time at one of my favorites in 8 years- I wanted my food fresh. We asked them to remake it and they refused. One lady actually made a comment about starving children- ummm, don't you work at taco bueno, lady?-- what exactly are you doing to help the starving children? -_-

We said make it again or just forget it. That's when they just said take it instead but still refused to remake the food.. Why not just do that before we left for the atm then? Or just remake and get paid for it.. Still, no drinks were included and the taco salad had tomatoes in it which I ordered it without.. They repeated the order back several times and it was still somehow wrong??? Sooo they should of remade the food anyways. All of the food was also cold. What an "amazing" experience for my first time back here. I will drive the extra 2 miles to avoid this taco bell...

Haven't been to this store in a long time. Anyway, all I wanted was to ask a simple question and the Manager answered the phone in Farmers Branch. I couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone at the first 5 location's near me on google. He was very informative on the phone. I called on a Thursday to ask if any of the location's were doing any kind of special on Taco 🌮 Tuesday. He said I think it was the party 🌮 for 59 cents. I sure wish you would bring back the Taco roll ups at least for half price. You know, I'm in the restaurant business, been with the same company for 36 years. The owner of my Franchise is the Number one Franchisee in the world. He once told me, that I will share with you, because your prices are so high, would you rather have 10% of 20 thousand, or would you rather have 8% of 30 thousand a week? The food is pretty good , there is a bit of a wait especially during lunch hour but not too bad. My only complaint about this location is that the women at the drive through are always sassy. They never smile and today when I got the wrong order I tried to politely tell the manager and she rudely said "give it to me" and then she said she had repeated the order back to me but honestly it was difficult to understand her through the speaker. She shut the window and I kind of felt bad because I know they're busy so when she opened the window I said "sorry about that" she basically tossed the food in my car and shut the window.
