Express Halal Food — Restaurant in Farmers Branch

We were coming back from the airport on Christmas night and were extremely hungry, quickly Googled to find halal food nearby which was open at that time, this was the only option that popped up, so we went there, first got surprised because it's a food truck (we thought its a restaurant)...anyways, when we got the food it was a huge surprise, very fresh and delicious food, we ordered chicken shawarma and gyro platters, wings and some sandwiches....everything turned out really good....we couldn't resist and ate all in the car 😀 we are so glad we found this hidden gem. We will definitely keep going...

Been here a few times and the cook has a great smile and nods in agreement but not sure he understands me. It is really good and inexpensive food. The rice is fantastic and I do love me some gyros. I wish it was the traditional rotisserie lamb shaved off medium but the cubed cuts are juicy delicious!

Even my kids dig it and want to stop on the regular. Only reason it is not 5 stars is that for a food truck I don’t like to wait 20’mins but I live close so I wait at home and come back so complaining for nothing.

Oh yeah and the cheese sticks...

Decided to try this food truck in my area to support locals and boy did I regret it. On top of waiting an hour they got my order wrong. There was no only one person there who was waiting on food when we arrived and it took the employee (or owner) about 15-20 min to even acknowledge us. We waited an hour to get our food and at the end I got a lamb gyro instead of chicken. It was highly disappointing and the food was mid. Ended up not eating the gyro since I don’t eat lamb. Definitely will not be...
