First off, the staff is very kind and polite. The issue I had was that the food was good but not great especially for the price. I think that for deli food, it doesn't hurt to be over the top in flavor and presentation because we most often equate deli food with sandwiches that we can make at home so the bar needs to be set higher. I recently purchased a salad here, the Sheila. $13 is a bit much for a bunch of lettuce cheese almonds and raisins. It was an excellent salad and a great dressing but certainly not worth the $13 I paid. So the bottom line is that it is good but very expensive food.

We stopped here on a road trip and were really impressed. I had a Hot Chick turkey wrap and my husband had a pickle Rueben. He said it was the best he'd ever had. My wrap was also delicious and exactly what I wanted. The potato salad was also really good. Nice people, cute shop, awesome food. This will be our go to spot to eat when we are traveling through the Farmington area. Pictures only show half portion, we had already eaten half!

A wonderful mom and pop deli. Everything sounded delicious, but we ultimately got the fat boy salad and the ham and apple wrap. The salad was amazing, the dressing was spicy and appropriately fresh (and I usually hate salads). The croutons are homemade. The wrap had an amazing cranberry sauce paired with the crisp apples and juicy ham. End of meal we were both full with a happy belly, feeling like we ate something nourishing.

I have never had worse product or customer service when I complained in my life. I will post pictures for you to see for youself how nasty it was. The girl when I called and complained not to get my money back or to get a refund but to let them know I was hungry and to let them know it was bad. They never once said sorry or what could i do to make it right...nothing. She giggled. When I asked if a manager was there she said no. I called the managers daught who handled it the correct way. Her mother the owner then called and all but called me a liar and said they never laughed cuz she was right there! Now who's lying!? Her or the employee!? The lettuce was brown and slimy and tasted nasty, you could hardly find the meat, the sandwich was not toasted, it was bad! The soup was a tomato basil so thick a spoon stood upright in it! That's a sauce! The bacon was one strip of limp, undercooked meat. Nasty. Anyone who knows me knows I know food and am a good cook. Just look at my FB profile. I have lived in Farmington 46 years and this is only the second time I have been treated so badly and disrespectful. I would have given it 0 stars if I could. Just had a sandwich yesterday from East End Sandwich Shop in Durango and it was so delicious I thought I'd get the same at Fatboys....not even in the same ballpark. And yes I said a few choice words and hung up after being lied to....

I’ve been wanting to go to this place for almost a year now since I have lived here and I am highly disappointed. The price said $8.75 on Google so I figured that’s what I was going to pay. I saw they had a soup of the day and I added it and it was a small container of soup. It came out to $23 and I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to sound rude and now I realized I should’ve just canceled the order. The sandwich was super small and it came with a pop that was flat, and chips that were crushed up in the bag. The ladies didn’t greet me or ask how I was doing and gave no emotion or customer service when I came in. Sorry but I will not be back. I could’ve got a foot long at subway for $15 instead of this...

A sandwich and chips/potato salad will cost $8-9 depending on what you order. If you want a drink you have to pay extra. My sandwich came with 1 slice of bacon and 2 deli slices of turkey. It was mostly lettuce and bread. It was freezing inside. There was a space heater next to our table so apparantly this is an ongoing issue. Oh, let's not forget parking. The parking is limited and the employees all park in the front so patrons have to fend for themselves on parking. Our bill was almost $18 total. We ate at a diner recently and got 2 hamburgers, fries, onion rings, and a milkshake for a little over $20. So that tells you how overpriced...
