Visited Farmington from out of state and stopped at the library multiple times. My children and I loved this library. The building itself on the outside is very nice. Inside it is laid out very nicely and very well organized. There was lots of room to sit down in a chair and read, they had a table set up with a puzzle to do and past puzzles displayed around the library. The children’s area was awesome and there was a craft table outside the children’s area where kids could do crafts. There were several small glass door rooms to go into to study. And the bathrooms (also storm shelters) we’re very large and clean. Highly recommend this awesome Library!

What a fabulous experience!! Story time at the Farmington Public Library was exceptional!! Super attentive staff and so patient and friendly! Lots of kiddos came together to fill the room. Story time, play time, crafts and snacks!! Amazing adventure!! Great job ladies!!! My 2 year old granddaughter loved it!!

A wonderful place for meeting! They feature at least two meeting rooms. They also feature local artwork & have really cool monthly craft nights for kids AND adults!!

I have used several libraries in several states and this is the first to require a fee to set up a library card. All other library cards I have owned were set up FREE of charge and had no restrictions on the amount of books you could check out. I always thought libraries were resources for public education and learning? I was also not impressed with the childrens section. There was no one in there to speak to and a no toys for the smaller children...

Because you don’t live in city limits they want you to pay for a library card and not a one time fee. You have to pay yearly. Also during September they have a “promotion” to get your library card for free. Except if you’ve ever had a library card and you’re in their system their promotion doesn’t apply to you. I homeschool my kids and it’s really crappy my kids can’t utilize the PUBLIC library...
