Visited Farmington from out of state and stopped at the library multiple times. My children and I loved this library. The building itself on the outside is very nice. Inside it is laid out very nicely and very well organized. There was lots of room to sit down in a chair and read, they had a table set up with a puzzle to do and past puzzles displayed around the library. The childrenâs area was awesome and there was a craft table outside the childrenâs area where kids could do crafts. There were several small glass door rooms to go into to study. And the bathrooms (also storm shelters) weâre very large and clean. Highly recommend this...

All other library cards I have owned were set up FREE of charge and had no restrictions on the amount of books you could check out. I always thought libraries were resources for public education and learning? I was also not impressed with the childrens section. There was no one in there to speak to and a no toys for the smaller children...
   Read moreBecause you donât live in city limits they want you to pay for a library card and not a one time fee. You have to pay yearly. Also during September they have a âpromotionâ to get your library card for free. Except if youâve ever had a library card and youâre in their system their promotion doesnât apply to you. I homeschool my kids and itâs really crappy my kids canât utilize the PUBLIC library...
