Where should I start. Great little station snacks, sodas the occasional youll find a lady of the night standing on the sidewalk outside and on a good night you can get a quick for a fifty. Plus if you are lucky enough to see the two blonde ladies that work the morning shift complain about everything and everyone(coustmers and fellow co-workers) there is no one that they won't make fun of and then they're dropping f-bombs like it was Hiroshima it just disrespectful. I went inside to get a soda to drink not to see 2 Jerry Springer rejects that were even 2 white trash for his show to be going on about their lady problems and hopefully after they go to their doctor appointment their rash and scabs will start to go away and start heeling up cause their man is getting antsy cause poppa don't get to plow the fields today. ⏰ 🚨 ⏰ 🚨 Welp. Guess what! Come to find out an honest, hard-working blue color American writes an honest review about a place of business and (through the grapevine mind you) I find out I can no longer go inside Rhodes. Because of this review I have been banned and somehow by association I guess so has my wife. What the heck?? Where am I going to get my soda on? A man gets thirsty (can I get an amen?) Where am I to go in the middle of the night when I'm parched and this fountain soda haven has become a small town monopoly? Should I quit my job and move to a different town so that I too can quench my thirst in the wee hours of the morning ? I don't know what to do I'm scared and to be honest a little hungry. Man what I wouldn't do to get a drink and a snack oh wait I can't guess ill be going hungry tonight thanks alot Rhodes you've officially broke my hope and dreams and heart I don't think ill be ok. Can we be friends again like we used too and stop this silly fight. Well I thought we might of been cool. Well guess what I was wrong on that one. My wife tried to go in and get a drink but out of nowhere she was bombarded by one of ladies mentioned above. Wow I haven't heard so many bad words in a row it was truly discussing im kinda glad I can't go in but wow just wow thats how you treat your customers? If so you should be disappointed in yourself. She would of probably stopped right in her tracks and dropped dead from the slanderous words spilling from that woman's mouth she like an encyclopedia for bad language and inappropriate behavior (bet she could even teach a class on it at the local Community College). I spend a quite a lot of money at the store and I mean quite a lot . Yesterday I went in I bought a fountain soda, a cereal bar and two packs of cigarettes . Today I go in and the manager comes to me and asks me if I told a fountain soda . Instead of getting all of the facts from ohis employees. Before accusing someone. Because a man a grown ass man checked me out and didn't give me a receipt and the second time I went in that day, I asked how much a fountain so it was and I changed my mind. So instead of getting the facts from his employees, or maybe even looking at the cameras He asks me if I forgot to pay foundation. No, I didn't forget . I paid for it. If you're gonna be a manager, do it right. Not my problem you couldn't get get an education and have a real career.

Normally I have a good experience with them. In/out quickly no issues. I will NOT be coming back to the location on Columbia St. Their employee mis-rung my gas purchase of $25, at $5. So I had to go back in and argue my case. Already fighting an eye infection didn't help my mood any.

I was willing to let things be. HOWEVER, another employee whom was not part of the situation at ALL decided to mouth off that it wasn't their fault. Guess they thought I didn't hear them but I did. I promptly said that when their employees didn't ring me up correctly to begin with, it WAS their fault. The "manager" then proceeded to defend themselves saying it's not their employees, etc.. AS I AM WALKING OUT THE DOOR! Then they had the gaul to say through the intercom at my pump t"Don't come back" Well...
