I used to love coming here for donuts and burritos. Then, after adding their new items to the menu, I really wanted to try their taquitas but honestly got hooked on the hamburgers. However, today I decided to try the taquitas and get a hamburger just in case I didn't like the taquitas. This was not during a rush since there was only one ride in front of me, and they left fairly quickly and another vehicle pulled up behind me, but no line.
As usual, I paid and this time I said yes to a receipt, which I usually don't since they used to be on top of things. They told me to park around the back and my food would be brought out. After receiving it, I parked in a parking spot to double-check everything was there. After taking everything out, I found no taquitas. I thought, "No problem, I'll just go inside and show them my receipt. It's just 3 taquitas. What's the worst that can happen?"
Unfortunately, I left with a sunken heart, my appetite ruined, and NO Taquitas. It was a rough day and I just wanted these taquitas. Which looking at the receipt, unfortunately, cost me $6.19 for just 3 again, JUST 3. I'm not sure how big or small they are, so I wouldn't know if it is worth it.
Nevertheless, it seems I paid $6.19 for a 2-minute experience of staff accusing me of trying to score free taquitas. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went home to take everything out of the bag, still no taquitas. I even checked under all my seats in case they rolled away and even in-between the seats, but still no taquitas.
Since this specific staff member swore, they put it in the bag and claims they made sure another staff member watched them put it in the bag. I think said staff member was there listening to this conversation, but I could tell they obviously didn't want to be pulled into this. Now I have no doubt staff might've seen them put it in A bag, but it just wasn't my bag. I will, of course, still keep an eye out for my 3 taquitas and will update my review if they roll around. Otherwise, I hope the person that received my 3 taquitas enjoyed it, because I sure didn't. Next time I'll make sure to ask staff to wait until after I check my entire bag, so I don't waste my time and energy just to get accused of trying to score free food when I didn't even receive what I paid for in the first place. As much time as I took to gather my words, watch someone else eat my food (lost my appetite), and post this, I still haven't found my 3 taquitas anywhere.
*If some type of management or leadership reads this, please work on deescalating with all staff. I could visibly tell how frustrated the staff were and did not handle this situation professionally. I treated staff like how I wanted to be treated. Unfortunately, I didn't even get that in return, not even a smile back. Like I mentioned, I already had a rough day, so I did not ask for a manager and took my loss because I could tell no matter what I did or said meant nothing. They just kept repeating they put the taquitas in the bag with a little more hostility each time. I would understand if I took a while to come back for the taquitas, but it took me no more than 5 minutes for this entire interaction. Not sure what kind of protocol you have for that or if there even is one, but I get it this staff member was just defending themselves for something they believe they did. Seems a different system needs to be put in place to show they verified everything's in the bag and not just claiming other staff members saw them. For example, you might need to go as far as checking off the items on the receipt individually to show staff put the item in the bag. Unfortunately, I saw the ugly side of this staff member for just 3 taquitas that I never got to try and probably won't since this was my first experience "attempting" to try. I'm writing this because this interaction was silly and shouldn't have happened but honestly could have been...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE! Asked cashier if I could get my hashbrowns for my burrito cooked crispy, she says she will go ask, she goes to cook and they say yes there's a button on the register for it. I order 3 donuts, 1 apple fritter, 1 brownie bar, and 1 sausage breakfast burrito and 1 bacon breakfast burrito. The cashier shoves all donuts on top of each other into a small bag without paper separation. The brownie bar used to be brownie batter, now it's just a chocolate donut stick. I then get my burritos, and the hash browns look raw and have about a quarter size piece of bacon only in one and about 3 dime size sausage chunks in the other. I am the only person in the restaurant and I go back to the cashier and she heads to the back and another lady comes out and says we can't do crispy hashbrowns because it would take too long, and proceeds to tell me it would take 45 minutes to cook the potatoes and make them crispy. I asked before I ordered it and you said yes. Did you think I wouldn't know? Are you serious? How you're staying in business treating people this way is surprising. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and the food is subpar and isn't worth the rude experience. I remember when this place was good. Guess I will...
Read moreThey are really doing a poor job lately. I pre-ordered 2 dozen strawberry cake donuts for a birthday at work. I got there the next morning at the designated time and they did not have the order ready so I waited 15 min for them to bring me two boxes that were taped shut. Got to work and every single donut was burned to a crisp. I tried to call but no one ever answered. I took them back that evening and a dif crew was working and three people commented those donuts looked like they were taken from the trash. They made it right. Today we gave them another shot. Got home and all the salsa we paid for and the sides are missing. We live 45 minutes away from there. I've tried calling over and over then finally a girl answers then hung up on me and now no one is answering. I tried to do their text thing off of the receipt and no surprise that doesn't work either. With how expensive they are you'd think they would do better. I have to add that the taquitos are horrible today. We ended up giving 20 dollars worth to our dogs because they...
