Server: Jasmine Order: COMBO - Hot & Sour Soup, Vegetable egg roll, Hunan Chicken (medium heat) Price: Very affordable! Portions: I had leftovers with the combo order.
CUSTOMER SERVICE An older gentleman greeted me. He was nice. He smiled and offered to help immediately. When I mentioned I needed to review the menu he wasn’t pushy at all. (I ended up eating in lol)
Jasmine was GREAT! She was quick and attentive to the tables, including mine. She checked to see if I wanted an entree (larger portion) or combo and didn’t assume. She knew the ingredients very well.
Time: Quick with enough time to enjoy each part of the meal.
THE FOOD Gluten free options available 😍
Soup YUMMY. My favorite part of the meal! Savory, hot, medium thickness which was great with the fried wontons!
Vegetable Egg Roll Decent. This had no particular flavor that stood out. The size was about 3inches long. Just enough for me. (I know some people look for them monster egg rolls lol) Jasmine suggested this spicy mustard (horseradish mustard). Woo baby! Shot fire up my nostrils but really yummy! That mustard would clear a cold up in seconds lol.
Hunan Chicken Very Sweet (not artificially sweet) The breading was light and still had some crispiness to it which was delightful. The chicken was good quality, no bits of cartilage or fat around the meat. If you want sweet heat, go for the max spice level.
Food was hot and flavorful. The sauce for the chicken is medium consistency (chicken is fully coated and the rest is on the plate). I believe the consistency of the sauce prevented the chilis from coating the chicken because it was very low on spice (barely tasted any).
⭐️SUGGESTION: Sprinkling some on top of the chicken after plating would ensure an accurate spice level for medium and up.
Chicken came with blanched broccoli and chicken and egg fried rice. The sides were decent. The rice could have used a tad more depth of flavor but still good! The rice was perfectly cooked.
Atmosphere is decent. Clean and somewhat modern with a mild diner feel. Family friendly (no inappropriate music or graphics).
I did not use the restrooms so I’m not sure how they are.

Read moreThis has been our family’s favorite Chinese place for 5+ years. We usually order monthly for our family of 7. However, the prices have gone up and the quality has gone downhill. The chicken in the almond chicken meal is always very dry now. Like barely edible at times. Male owner is very friendly but some of the staff members are very rude.
I don’t generally leave bad reviews but tonight’s dine in experience was very disappointing.
This was my first time dining in. I took my youngest for a haircut and figured it would be nice to dine in together. We were planning to order carry out but given how busy they were I figured we could eat our appetizers and take the rest to go depending on how he was behaving. He did great however, our server was not friendly. I ordered soup for myself and two orders of crab rangoon. I explained one was to go. I was brought two bowls of soup and two trays of rangoon. Fair enough. I didn’t want to be rude so I set one to the side along with the extra soup and figured we would just take it home. After I finished my soup and my son ate his rangoon I asked to take our meals to go as it was getting late. The server was very clearly bothered by this. She packed up some of our leftovers but tossed the soup out. I bit my tongue thinking maybe she realized I didn’t order the second soup. She then brought the bill. $52.58. I was a bit shocked as it was almost $10 more than usual. Again, we order very often and it’s never that much. I very politely asked her if the total was correct and compared it to the menu but she cut me off and told me it was because I ordered two soups and it was extra for the rice I ordered? One was white rice and one is chicken fried rice. Neither are an up charge. And I didn’t order two soups. I ordered one. She took it upon herself to dump out the second bowl but still charge me for it.
I tipped well, made sure our table was cleaned up and left. Got home and went to serve up food for my family only to see we got one scoop of rice, not two with the almond chicken meal. I’m not even sure how that happened.
TLDR: paid more than I ever have for two combinations, got less food and...
Read moreFirst and foremost, I REALLY want this place to succeed. None of my comments are meant to harm this place financially. I just hope someone reads it.
Last night my husband and I ordered General Tso's chicken and beef and broccoli. When we opened up the bag, the food was upside-down and caused a huge mess. That in and of itself is no biggie.
The chicken was fine (hence 2 stars), but the beef and broccoli? It was beyond disappointing. I kid you not when I say they put 3lbs of veggies in MAYBE 2oz of beef. I was also a little annoyed at the fact it wasn't even broccoli. It was broccoli, snap peas and carrots. I actually wondered if they gave me the wrong order, but everything else was there. In my opinion, this is a way to cut costs of dishes that include beef. I can read right through it.
Speaking of trying to cut costs...the Styrofoam material on boiling hot food... That's a health hazard, especially if it's going into the Styrofoam as SOON as it's out of the wok. It needs to cool down before going into the container as not to let any chemicals leach out of the foam. I get that it's cheap, but PLEASE just let the food cool down before putting the food in!
I guess if you chose to go here, I recommend their chicken dishes. The portions are huge though! I feel like they could order less chicken and maybe upgrade their packaging materials. At least they're ready for Christmas! They have a whole...
