I moved here last week and needed my local bread bakery. I visited here on a friends recommendation and was pleasantly surprised with the breads and other items there. It looks like a family run local place and the prices are so reasonable!! Now the bread that I came here for- such a soft, hearty loaf of bread and again, very reasonably priced. Read moreI really hate to give this place a bad review. It was my first time going there and they always have a line of people waiting to buy their bread and pastries. The staff was so friendly too. I got the Komi bread, a sourdough rye. The flavor is good but it was SO SALTY. I was so thirsty afterward and even had a headache, but I didn't realize it was because of the bread until the second day. I bought a loaf but couldn't finish it. Great King Cake to celebrate Mardi Gras. The cake is moist and well balanced with cinnamon. The presentation is festive with the colors of Mardi Gras as colored sugar. The glaze gives just the right amount of sweetness but is not overdone. You can choose to have beads and other items as part of the purchase or not.
