First time. Awesome, very friendly, young man, working alone, took our order and cooked it all perfectly!! Even though there were several orders, this young man managed to get it out to everyone in a very timely fashion, and with a wonderful smile!! great variety of food, reasonable prices and HOLY YUM!!! good slaw, perfect burger, minus the absence of onions, tomato, lettuce and pickles. I think If the owner could get more steady business, he might be apt to add some extra goodies like toppings.. AMAZING chicken tenders, excellent onion rings and fries!! Awesome sauces too!! Super clean area. plenty of nice tables under "the big top". Great location in town amongst the typical "fast food" places. Don't drive by it, though! Cute little place, on the left, after Irving's, coming from the Walmart area. This place is quality, homey, frickin', really good food!! Met the owner, who live's on property, friendly talker, with a little bit of a rough edge. I can tell he's a worker, not a "business" man. Mainer's know what i mean! I’ve driven past Outpost BBQ countless times and always noticed the parking lot full—clearly a good sign. I finally stopped in last week, and I’m glad I did! The food was absolutely fantastic.

We tried the ribs, brisket, and chicken, and honestly, it was hard to pick a favorite. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the chicken had a deep, rich smoke flavor, and the brisket was incredibly moist and flavorful. Every bite was a reminder of what great BBQ should taste like.

The service was timely and had a welcoming atmosphere. The food however wasn't the same. The sauce leaves you wondering if they understand bbq at all and there was such a lack of smoke flavor in the food I wanted to cry because I wasted my birthday money on such a major disappointment to my taste buds. Which is a shame. I heard good things about this place but it didn't live up to what I heard and ruined my birthday dinner.
