I’ve always heard great things about Sam & Andy’s in Farragut, and today, I finally got to experience it for myself. Walking in, you place your order at the counter, and the menu is packed with an awesome selection of burgers and sandwiches. After ordering, you grab a seat and wait for your food. I’m pretty sure it was either Sam or Andy (or someone just as welcoming) who called out, “Hey girl, your food is ready!”—a fun, friendly touch that made the place feel even more inviting.
I went with the Philly cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks, and a drink. The self-serve drinks are a nice perk.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The mozzarella sticks? Absolute perfection. Crispy, cheesy, and just right. But the real star? The Philly cheesesteak—hands down the best I’ve had in East Tennessee. My only suggestion? They should add hot sauce to their condiment selection because, well, I like hot sauce on everything!
Overall, a 10/10 experience. This place is a true Farragut staple and a favorite local hangout for a reason! If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. I'll...
Read moreThis location became a meeting point for me and one of my brothers from the Marine Corps. I found myself all the way across the country and my friend just happened to move to Knoxville not too long ago and picked this spot to meet. Found this place to be very charming. Food was great and the service was fantastic, very intentive crew. You can tell that the community really likes this place because it seems like the same people come in here all the time everyone seems to know everybody which is a nice thing to see especially me being from a larger City. If I find myself back in Knoxville and I hope I do I will definitely come back to this place and try out more of their menu items, if you find yourself in Knoxville please give...
Read moreI have lived in Knoxville for 8 years now. I can't believe I I just found this place. This little dinner is Best kept secret.
From the atmosphere in the friendly staff members I can't believe this place doesn't have a line around the door. Truly a family diner because they know almost everybody walking on the door.
They're known for their cheeseburgers but I decided to get a rib eye sandwich made to order. So big I have to take half of it with me. Best thing I tasted in a long time so good. My daughter had chicken fingers and they were just as good as the ribeye.
When my daughter was done with her dinner the manager or owner I'm not sure gave my daughter a candy bar. This is truly my new...
