I've visited this place twice. I really like the sandwiches - the ingredients are fresh and tasty. No food complaints at all. But, I have to repeat what many people here have said... The staff is just awful! My first problem is that I literally cannot understand them. I get it, they're in masks behind plexiglass, it's not ideal. But if I say, "pardon me?" "Sorry, I couldn't catch that" - they make no attempt to speak up, or talk more clearly. "Y wa mayns wi dat?" And they don't hide their irritation. 2 visits - same experience. So it can't be chalked up to a bad day, which is understandable. I'm new to Mike's - the staff seems to assume everyone has been there 1,000x. Sorry - some of us don't know the routine. You have to speak clearly, answer (annoying) questions without making the customer feel that your totally annoyed. What really bugged me, was my husband (who is German and only lived in this country for a few months) said he wanted a sub with only lettuce, onions and tomatoes. The server saucily commanded him, "next time just say you want it "Mike's way". I was thinking, "If there is a next time, we'll order however we want to order!" If she had just said, "Oh we call that "Mike's way" you can order it like to make it easy!" (Smiles with her eyes!) I wouldn't have minded. It was the commanding tone... Read moreI recently went into the store and placed and purchased a catering order two days in advance for pickup on Wed 21 May at 6:00 pm at Store #3148 8018 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC. The catering order was for a meeting that I had and I promised dinner to all who participated. When I arrived to pick up my meal, no manager was onsite, and neither was my order. The supposed Team Lead, gave me a very nonchalant response as to why my order that I ordered two days prior and paid for was not ready. His response was we were busy, and that was it. I had to proceed to my meeting, empty handed with no food and now no credibility with my clients. This is piss poor to say the least and then I take off my job to go to speak with the Manager on Friday and I was told that the Manager won't be back to Monday. I have a choice to where I spend my hard earned dollars, and I will never spend another dime at Jersey Mike's. When I got home my Chipotle steak Giant had No lettuce or tomato’s . It was okay okay but would have really enjoyed it if they had everything on it.
