Food Lion — Local services in Fayetteville

Yesterday my experience here was beyond terrible. My cashier Shakira cheated me out of my WIC. I had everything separated accordingly and she rung up everything altogether despite of me telling her more than once I had more than one wic paper. This resulted in me paying for things that WIC was supposed to be covering, in addition she did not make sure I had all of the right things on my WIC and a person that was with me asked her about one item than she realized she didn't charge it towards my WIC. This cashier was completely lazy, reckless, and rude. I have never had this experience before. I mean I was literally the only person in line, I have no idea what the rush and recklessness was about on her end. Than to make things worst after reviewing my receipt because it did not make sense, I went back in the store and showed her that it said the WIC only took off 64 cents, she gave an explanation that made no sense at all. And I caught her asking another worker to check over her WIC to make sure it's right. I feel like if she didn't know what she was doing she should have just been honest about it. I took her explanation and gave up and left. I truly regret going here, I should have just went directly...

Now I see why there is always only a handful of people at this perticular location. The shopping part, being able to find the basics and regulars is fine. Going to checkout is another thing. Sadly this isn't the first time and I see it was never corrected from before. From saying hello to the cashier and getting no response to not interupting their conversations to not bagging groceries, all are why they need to go ahead and shut this place down. I asked the cashier "Do you not bag groceries?" She says "Only if the customer asks me to." When did this come up because I have never heard of this? So I bagged my own groceries while several employees just stood around. Even the next lady was waiting for the same cashier to finish checking her out. It's like that only want you to buy three items and be on your way. If I have to bag my own groceries, then put in self checkouts. So Food Lion on Good Middling is a terrible place as far as customer...

This has been my Food Lion for 20 years, as of today I will no longer shop in this store unless it is an absolute emergency. They have changed the store about a month now and in that month I have witnessed Thug-ghetto mentality and Buffoonery from the young childish employees. There are also at least two rude, loud, and obnoxious females that appear to have no home training, I have witnessed this on more than one occasion.This used to be a very nice family orientated store, the faces of the staff was familiar when you walked in and I stayed an extra 10 min just to listen to the music.Enjoy the low-life Food Lion with the new and...
