Yesterday evening will probably go down in history as one of the WORST dining experience I have had in a long time. I know this to be a fact, because normally after I would have gone to bed and woke back up I would be feeling better or have gotten over it, but unfortunately I still share the same disgust.
My family and I were all really excited about eating at your restaurant, because we had a polar opposite experience in Kennesaw. We had such a Wonderful experience at the Kennesaw locations, we couldn’t wait to give the Fayetteville location a try, especially due to the fact that the Fayetteville location is closer to home and we were looking forward to making it one of our regular spots to go.
When we first got there we chose our seats, and waited for a server around7:25. A server did come around after about 5mins. She greeted us with menus and told us that our real server will be around shortly. That was fine, but then we waited and waited and waited for about 10 mins. We noticed while we waited one of the servers sat down and had a conversation with one of the customers who already had gotten his food. I finally asked her, “did she know who was going to wait on us.” I guess by now the gentleman at the bar observed we hadn’t be waited on, so around the same time he came to assist.. He tried to make better of the situation and was very pleasant. He took our main order and appetizers. We thought things were turning around now. We all washed our hands , and when we came back to the table we had our drinks and serving/dining items. It is now 7:45. At this time we were under the impression that the appetizers(fried pickles) were on the way. 7:55 my husband went to inquier about the appetizers. He was told they would be out in a few mins. At that time we’d been there for 35mins. with no appetizers, no server, and to top it off we notice a family came in after us was now receiving refills, and we were still nursing the same drinks we got when we first came in. Not to mention, since no one came to see about us, my girls were stuck with fruit punch that tasted like colored water. Finally, around 8:06 our appetizers arrived! 40mins in. I’m upset now, because we purchased appetizers to hold us over until the main food came, and now I’m thinking they are going to bring everything out at once. Well, imagine our surprise when 8:15 rolls around and still NO FOOD! I stopped the one server I saw and asked her, “did we even have a server?” She was courteous as possible at this time, and we expressed to her our grievances and mentioned if she would speak to the manager about discounting our bill. When she came back she gave us an update on our food that it will be another 6mins, but unfortunately the kitchen manager will not be discounting your ticket, because there were other call in orders that came in before us that took president. ?????????!!!!!!!!!!!! If this was the case why didn’t someone inform us this 45mins ago, and allowed us to make the decision if we wanted to be subjected to this Horrible experience! At that time we asked the server(we never knew any of their names) to cancel our order, and to please bring us the ticket for the drinks and appetizers. At the time my husband was clearing our check, the kitchen manager offered to knock off $10. REALLY!!! My whole family had gone above and beyond being patient, and all we were asking was for some compensation to reflect what we experienced, and to also reflect how concern Johnny’s was we had to go thru what we did, but to offer us nothing, not even an apology. We got an explanation, but not an apology. It took our family literally getting out of our seats and heading to the door for the manager to offer $10. Off our bill!

My fiancé waited 20mins for a freaking side salad! My friends and I were completely dissatisfied with the amount of time it took to get food items such as garlic bread which never arrived to our table and I requested to be taken off! After 45mins we finally received our pizza and wings! 45mins! Several other customers who arrived after our party had received their orders and were leaving at this point! My friend request to speak w a manager at this point one of the young ladies says she get the manager 10 mins go by and no manager! We request from a second waitress to get the manager finally a young lady who appears to be 16 comes over to our table, clearly not the manager but what ever!! We begin to tell her as to why we’re disappointed in the service she ask what she can do? We tell her our server hasn’t been back to our table for 25 mins no one has received refills at this point and I asked for a to go container we tell her a compensation for the order is expected! She says she’ll see what she can do. Our waitress returns to the table with the bill w a 10% discount which is damn near comical to me for the piss poor service my friends, my fiancé, and I received! Oh and still no refills and have not received a Togo box! At this point I ask to speak to the manager and express my outrage without raising my voice of course I have work fast food for several years and been a manager so I would never be disrespectful. She ask me to hold on for a min. A few moments later a guy is sent to the table and ask how he can help? I ask are you the manager?! He reply’s no. I said you can help by getting the manager we have requested 4 times now! He proceeded to tell us they don’t have a manager! Long story short he tells us there was nothing he could do he’s only been there three days! I was so compelled to walk out an front the bill to Johnnys Pizza but I’m not that kind of person. Read moreTHE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Our waitress was heavily sedated and later found out from the manger on duty she was "high on drugs and mentally not there." I had to approach her after 40 minutes of sitting to ask if I could order food and she had no recollection that she came and brought drinks, that she was our server, or that I had ordered an appetizer. We waited OVER AN HOUR and still did not receive our appetizer. She came to our table, no exaggeration, over 9 times with the incorrect drinks and was doing the same to the table behind us. We asked the other server to please not allow her to come back to our table as she was clearly strung out on some kind of drug and incoherent. After the hour mark with still no appetizer I approached the manager and told him we were leaving. He began arguing with me with and had an aggressive attitude. He told me he was about to fire the server who was clearly high on drugs and that he was trying to catch up from the disaster that just happened and asked me not to leave. I informed him we ( myself, my boyfriend, and my son ) had been there over an hour with still no food and we were leaving. I let him know there was no reason why this server should still be in his establishment and should have been told to leave hours ago as she was clearly under the influence. As I was leaving, the MANAGER yelled across the room sarcastically "THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE THEN" and proceeded to VERBALLY YELL AND CUSS at the woman server telling her to "GET THE HELL OUT OF HIS RESTAURANT, YOU'RE FIRED." Mind you my 8 year old son was with me, the table behind me had a small child and the restaurant was occupied with other guests while he is cussing across the room, yelling at ME, A CUSTOMER and DID NOT ONCE Come to our table to apologize nor did he apologize for ANYTHING that happened. I have been in the restaurant business for over 10 years and managed much bigger chains such as Outback Steakhouse in Peachtree City. THIS IS THE WORST experience, especially with my family, I have ever had and will NEVER come to Johnny's again.
