Read moreI wanted to support this business so I continued to patronize them in the midst of their shortcomings, but tonight was the last straw. I came in tonight to order 30 garlic parm wings. The lady that greeted me stated it would be a 30 min wait. I was shocked but love their food so I waited. I guess the sign was there when I called 2x before arrival and nobody answered. Anywho so I said fine and went back to my car and waited. 30 mins pass and I go back inside. The lady walks by me a few times so move I closer to the bar for acknowledgment. She approached after about 5/6 mins of sitting at the bar and tell me we can’t fulfill your order because we don’t have enough wings. Say what now?! Not me waiting for 30 plus min….almost 40 for yall to tell me that. The thigh was undercooked, the greens were still tough, and the mac is not baked but seems made in a bowl on a as need basis with minimum flavor or cheese. I am giving them 2 stars because the chef is so welcoming when it comes to his establishment and breaking down what's best. I should have took his advice. I shouldn't have ordered soul food from a place called Krackn Up Krabs. The place looked clean and he was again awesome. I will give them another try for seafood only. Some constructive criticism. Add bacon crease or some type of oil to your greens. Not sure the pot size but a whole sweet yellow onion and chicken bullion or broth does wonders. Also invest in a thermometer to make sure the temperature of the food has been met. Not just looking done on the outside but inside.
