A friend & I dined here last night & overall the experience was good. We walked in & they told us to seat ourselves. I liked that option bcuz we were able to pick where we felt comfortable sitting. The server came over, gave us the menu & took our drink orders. Food/Beverages: TheThai tea was decent. I probably wouldn't order it again. We ordered the spring rolls - (2) veggie & (2) chicken - & they were both good. I liked the light, crispy taste of them. The Jungle Curry was good, according to my friend; the Panang Curry with Jungle veggies was good also. I enjoyed the sauce. However, the chicken used in the dish tasted rubbery & chewy. I think they cook a lot of chicken at the beginning of the day & add it to the dishes as the orders come in. I will not ever order the chicken again in my dish, I'd rather have veggies only. Service: They were quick to take our orders but after we received the dishes they didn't come back & check on us for a while. Not a big issue, bcuz we were talking, but had we needed something it would have been an issue. Location/Atmosphere: Great parking. Inside of the restaurant is cozy but a nice space. We'll be back... we just won't order the chicken in our dishes again.

This is by far and away the best Thai food in the Fayette County area. I've been coming here almost weekly for 9 years and I have never been let down. Heads up! They have the best tasting and spiciest Thai Soup in all Atlanta!! Just ask for Thai spicy if you like that! You WONT be let down!! But beware, Thai Hot is not for amateurs. Also, just so all you spicy obsessed people are curious, their Thai Spicy options go for Thai Spicy lvl 1 all the way to lvl 20!! The Pot Tak is perfect for those who enjoy a full pot of seafood soup! If you don't like Seafood they have Chicken Coconut Soup and the Hot And Sour Chicken soup is just as amazing!! Their Wanton Soup is also very delicious!! They offer these in a small bowl or in a big pot!! Also, one last note to those reading this, they have mild options for all of these as well if spicy is not your forte.

THE FOOD HERE IS SO GOOD!!! After becoming addicted to the curry in a Thai spot in Atlanta, we were dying to find something closer to us. So my friend and I tried Thai jasmine! We were served by a sweet young lady and ordered the Massaman curry and Thai tea. When I tried it.. my mind was literally blown. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, and the portion size is huge for the price! You definitely get your moneys worth, 100%. We are SO happy we won’t have to drive to Atlanta for Massaman curry, please don’t stop making it! 💗

My husband and I ARE Thai connoisseurs, and we liked this place. We are from Dallas and have been to many Thai places, including San Diego, CA and NYC. My first experience with Thai was in S. Dallas with a friend who was half Thai and ordered everything in Thai. Thankfully, I learned all of the names so I could repeat the experience throughout the years! We ordered pad se ew (excuse spelling of these), tom ka gai coconut milk soup, pad thai, and EXTRA HOT geng keow wan... the green curry chicken. Delicious.

First, the pad thai, in my opinion, needed more of the tamarind sauce that you typically see. However, the flavor was good, despite lack of the color/sauce.

Same with pad se ew... flavor was good, but I like more brown (black bean) sauce... again, lack of color-didn't affect taste, just slightly more dry texture-wise.

Coconut milk soup was good, just too many white onions. Needed more ginger... i like pieces of ginger and lemongrass floating around in mine. ;)

Re: the green curry... I'm used to having more Japanese eggplant in mine and would prefer the color to be a bit more green (perhaps more basil), but all in all, GREAT flavor.

As far as HEAT, I am half Hispanic and LOVE hot Mexican food. The range here at Thai Jasmine is mild, medium, hot, extra hot, thai hot, and extra thai hot. The Extra Hot was great. Definitely hotter than hottest Mexican salsa, but not hotter than habanero. Close. It was like biting into a spicy hot jalapeño. Lips/mouth were burning, but it was so good, the heat didn't affect our ability to enjoy the flavors. Bonus: it cleared up some congestion! ;) Nitpicky on my part, but I know they added more thai chili flakes for heat. I like my green or red curry (panang, etc) to have heat from the visible slices (halved lengthwise) of whole chilis in the sauce.

In summary, not like Dallas, San Diego, or NYC but definitely BETTER than PTC. :) And, we...

I’ve eaten at this Resturant for about 5 years now. The food has always been fresh, flavorful, and affordable. I ordered take out a week ago for my family and I. I noticed that I could not get anyone to take my phone call for about 20 minutes. I decided to call back a couple of times. I finally reached someone who took my order. I live about 25 minutes away and I picked up my food around 25 minutes In which was the pick up time quoted. When reaching my home I gathered my family and we started disbursing the food. I then realized that the pad Thai was completely dry, soooooo dry the noodles were clumpy completely dry and could not serve. I than called the restaurant and asked to speak with the supervisor she picked up the phone and I explained she asked if I could come back and I said no. It would take me far too long to get back home for just a dish and prolong dinner. So we ate the other dishes in which were not up to far either. She than said that instead of replacing the dish she would give me 10% off no ooo. I don’t understand why she could not replace the dish. She stated that when you get home the dish dries out how???. Sooooo I’ve eaten here for 5 years I would pick up dinner and drive to Douglasville and my dish would be perfect and saucy. I am very disappointed the service and the food is no longer the same. I will no longer recommend this restaurant nor visit. Five years...

This review is mainly for dine in service.Let me start by saying every customer isn't treated equal so you may have had a nice dine in experience at this location-but we didn't .We usually get the food to go but decided this day to dine in we didn't wait long and while it to be seated. But in the section we were in we were provide a different waitress than the other tables so they had consistently the same waitress and that waitress was attentive to the table. 3 tables around us - 2 to the left one behind us . We literally had a different person for our order, brought, drink, brought our food.after that no one else came to our table to ask if we needed anything we had to flag the waitress that was serving behind us for refills to our drinks,we only had 2 napkins had to ask for those.Needless to say no tip we wouldn't know who to tip we were left o. Our own.the waitresses were friendly to the other male patrons that look like us and male and female oness that didn't look like us . No tip- they missed out my daughter is a great tipper.alot of times I feel too generous sometimes. I like the food so i will continue to go ...but takeout only ..but if the service continues to be superficial ..the 45 min drive and 40 + for the food on avg wo t...
