I’m not one for big crowds so I got mine to-go but I must say the barbecue is excellent I had a quarter pound pulled pork and a quarter pound hot links. I must say the pulled pork was a little dry for my taste but the flavor was 10 out of 10 hands-down the mild barbecue sauce is a 10 out of 10 hands down. And that hot link 😋🤤. And the price you can’t beat it. If I could give 10 stars I would but that still wouldn’t be enough 🤣😂 no wonder it’s packed their food is excellent.

Lucky Luke's is in my personal top 2 places for BBQ in NWA. LL's is more of a Texas style BBQ joint, (salt n pepper rub) but BBQ sauces are available on table. They use a real pit with hickory wood, no cheating with ovens here. Their wings, hot links, and ribs are top notch, followed up with smoked chicken. I would skip the brisket however, it's their weakness. They also have reasonable beer prices, but sadly hard liquor isn't served here.

Ribs were cooked overwhelming with smoke flavor. Indicates they had the wrong temps. (white smoke instead of a nice blue hue of smoke) Brisket shouldn't be served here if this is what they consider texas brisket. Sausage and okra were good. My toast was burnt on one side which I would assume they were too busy or short staffed. (rushed) I was really digging the atmosphere here but the food did not deliver.

I ordered the big sandwich they have, "man-tee-ka" or something like that, to go. I got it home and they had dumped an amazing amount of the kole slaw liquid all over the sandwich. The entire bottom half, and half the top half are a soaked, sopping mess of mushy bread. I knew it had kole slaw on the sandwhich but I would have thought the person making it would have the sense not to use a ladle full of the liquid dumped all over the sandwich. This is a disgusting mess. They are fine at dine-in, but its not worth stopping by for carry-out if they are going to screw something up this bad. I paid too much for this sandwich for them to ruin it like this. It is an easy and common way to mess up a sandwich, and still they did it. This sandwich is just too big to be this soggy. It is no longer structurally stable enough to pick up. I got one try, could tell it was too soggy, bit into it anyway starving, and split the bottom bread to pieces, with the middle meats sliding askew some with one hand and and some the other. I wanted a big meaty sandwich and now I am picking kole slaw soaked meat bits from a mushy bread pile. I usually like Lucky Luke's, and I really wish I had a tasty sandwich from there right now, but I don't. I have this soggy thing. And an order of fried jalepenos, which are their usual tasty selves. All three of the stars are from the jalepenos really. They are helping me pinch up pork bits from the kole slaw soup bottom of the to go container.. Please tell the sandwich assemblers to not use the juiciest of kole slaws in the to-go sandwiches. And for anyone crazy enough to have read this far, if you order from Lucky Luke's I would recommend avoiding anything with kole slaw, or asking for it on the side. I have learned my lesson, and will remember this soggy...

I was in town for a Volleyball tournament and Lucky Luke's had good reviews. Arriving I had even higher hopes as it had the looks of a for sure BBQ joint. What I guess I hadn't figured in was that college students will eat almost anything and give it five stars. Ambience was just right for BBQ and the service was good. The food was very average - hence the three star rating. Suspect it might have been right off the back of a Sysco truck. I had a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and coleslaw. The pulled pork was ok, although a bit dry, bbq sauce tasted like chili powder as did the baked beans. Coleslaw was shredded cabbage with little seasoning. Not sure this place would survive in Oklahoma. Even in Norman...
