McDonald's on wedington drive. My son wanted to have dinner here tonight, but that just didn't end up happening. He got McDonald's to go and a life lesson in how not to ever treat people. Two female managers on duty upfront showed absolutely the worst customer service ever. Keep in mind it wasn't busy at all. They were definitely staffed properly. There was a new cashier being trained, I felt completely sorry for him, he did an excellent job in light of all the yelling behind him by these managers. He was being told how to do things by 4 people (yes 4). The drink machine wasn't working. So they were making the drinks for you. Only tea was self serve. Of course anytime your rewarding your child they are excited and probably not acting 100%. I was trying to hurry and order bc i felt like tge cashier was overwhelmed by all the people telling him things. My son was just moving around and being a typical 7yr old boy. Having 5 people told staring at us made me feel like I was holding up everything. No one clearly stated that, that was my personal feeling. In the process i manages to order the wrong size drunk for my son. A large tea for him instead of small. I waited for my cup to make the tea and then asked and he knew exactly what was going on and was helping me perfectly. A manager for some reason decided to tell him how to help me and she didn't know what was going on. So in my attempt to help him not feel so degraded I said "I would just like to buy an additional small drink" and she tells me no you don't need to all drinks cost the same. I again said ok but I would just like to buy a small. Long story short that drink and lack of communication by an interrupting 3rd party sent everything spiraling. Our whole order was a nuggets, fries, burger, 3 drinks and a kids toy. Not even enough to cause this huge cluster. I've worked many years in management and food service and no one has the right to disrespect or degrade anyone. This new cashier never complained but wore the most covered up look of embarrassment. The unsaid words spoke volumes. Every worker there is there for a paycheck, no one is better than anyone else. Being a member of society should teach you emapthy and patience. but if nothing else beibg a supervisor in customer service you must have it. so I truly hope these women learn how to respect others. They open display of abusing their position was disgusting. My son learned on his own in tgat 10 minutes, that everyone has feelings and should be respected. He told the cashier (without me asking him to) "Thank u sir, sorry that you got embarrassed but you did great". A 7 YR OLD BUT EVERYYHING IN PERSPECTIVE!!!!! NOT THE ADULTS!!! Read moreOrdered Drive thru with this guy. Ok everything seemed great, both speakers were not working but didn't mind waiting for my turn. Waited patiently, paid and got to the second window until I received my food. Didn't really ask about receipt and the girl at the window didn't mentioned it either. When I was about to leave I realized I was missing my double cheeseburger. Ok went back in the drive thru there were 3 cars in front of me but I was like ok probably they forgot it. Guy who took my order went upfront to let them know I was missing my double chesseburger. When I get to the second window the girl said double cheeseburger is not in the receipt. Ok I thought the guy who took my order forgot can you charge it no problem, I said. A woman with a grey shirt who was a Hispanic manager said she couldn't ring it up!!!!!! That I had to go back in line!!!!!! I couldn't believe it, I was really upset the Manager had said said that, WOW. She didn't apologize, she didn't say let me ring it up here, nothing I had to go back in line for the third time and get the cheeseburger. Never in any McDonalds that I have been to, there had been horrible staff and service. I'm serious DO NOT go to this McDonalds, staff are not even friendly. They seem to hate their job. Now I know why they have so many bad reviews, don't come here and do yourself a favor. Go to other McDoanlds' instead, they just lost four customers. Read moreI come here every single day for a blended coffee. I can tell you the service is exceptional from a few ladies. One Mgr knows my name and has my coffee ready to hand me as I'm walking to the counter, she brightens my day Everytime I see her. Another Mgr. Always greets me with a smile and and is very attentive when I walk in. Then I get days like today when none of my ladies are at work and my large blended coffee is barely half full and I paid over $6+ for it with an extra shot. And this same crew always gives me a medium cup during the week instead of the large I pay for.. the Mgr on duty, skinny long haired lady.. always looks miserable and never has a smile on her face and never says have a good, thank you nothing.. those are the days I find I'm not as pleasant in the morning due to the lack of customer service.. she has been there the longest as an employee as well.. so odd! But my other 3 ladies, they kill it every single time they work!! Keep up the great job ladies!!! You make my week of working 5 jobs so much more enjoyable!!...
