Came here on a not busy Wednesday night. The service was alright and the chef Jerome has always been our favorite, we have been loyal customers since this place opened. We dined in hibachi and ordered our food along with two to-go plates from the menu one of which was to be cooked in hot sauce. The problems started when I found a piece of paper on my salad and furthered when our chef informed us the two to go orders would be cooked in the back (mind you our orders have always been cooked on the table even if togo) and the waitress had not asked how I wanted the steak cooked on one of the meals. Our chef went to let the kitchen know and everything seemed fine. At the end of our meal we received our orders and the meal that was to be cooked in hot sauce was not cooked in hot sauce at all. The manager came out and proceeded to tell me that the food couldn’t be cooked that way because “the chef cooking the order wasn’t comfortable cooking it that way” . I asked him as a paying customer why I couldn’t have my food the way I wanted it and he said “its our policy” mind you after coming here for years and always having our to go orders cooked in hot sauce this was a new policy to us. There would have been no issue had the waitress informed me. When I got the togo orders home I then realized there were no salads or soups (things that come with the meal) and no noodles in the box. Mind you we were still charged full price for the meal $127 to be exact. Tableside price for togo service and not even half the food. A meal that did not include noodles in the box which come with meals ordered from the table, soups or salads. We called the manager and he proceeded to argue with us and tell us we were wrong and that salad and soup did not come with our meals and that noodles were an extra charge. AGAIN we've been coming here for years and this was the first time hearing of any of this. After telling him we have always received those things with togo orders made in the main restaurant he proceeded to say “well next time you come tell me what girl did that so I can fire them for giving away my product”. Mind you salads and soups come WITH every meal. At 9pm he told us if we didn’t like the food to bring it back and get a refund (mind you he could have expressed this when I spoke to him at the restaurant the first time) , its not that we don’t want the food but if were going to pay $127 for food we should atleast be able to have it cooked the way we want it. That is part of the reason for coming to a hibachi steakhouse. Said all this to say we will not be going back and they have lost customers that have supported their business from its very start. This place only has about two good cooks if that. I would urge you to avoid this place if ordering the table side menu togo if you want your food cooked how you like it. Would give it a 0 if I could for tonight’s...
Read moreFirst of all, I am a disabled veteran. I went to this establishment a couple of weeks ago. The cocktail waitresses were rude. I waited standing up with my knee brace on and my cane for 10 minutes, until I seen an empty stool. Then waited for another 10 minutes at least and still not acknowledged or asked what I wanted. When I finally was able to tell them what I wanted, one of the waitresses told me that I would have to wait. Hell, I had already been waiting almost 20 minutes. I was then told by one of the waitresses that I needed to move my stool, rudely, saying that it was in the walk way. I told her that I was disabled and treated badly. I finally got up and left without ordering a drink. I then asked to speak to the owner. After speaking to the manager/ owner, I thought that the issue was solved. Then later I go to order a drink and the manager rushed to my beck and call to make my drink. Then later I was approached rudely by one off the waitresses and asked why I took her picture. I told her that I did no such thing. I told her that I took a selfie. Get over yourself. I don't like being harassed. So tonight I went inside and went to order a drink from the bar. The so called waitress who claimed to be the manager, told me that she could not serve me and that I needed to leave. I asked to see the manager and she said that she was the manager. I then told her that I needed to see the owner. He came and told me that I needed to leave. I asked why and he replied that they cannot seem to make me happy, so I am not allowed back in there. I told him that I am a disabled veteran and they were rude and took too long to wait on me. He did not care. I carry myself like a lady, whenever I am in there. It's sad when you are discriminated against. I can find other places to spend my money. It's not a necessity that I go in there. It's the point behind it. I have never been treated like this in my entire life. I never caused any problems...
Read moreI wish I could not select a star at all. The service horrible. The owner HORRIBLE,lacked compassion, rude, unkept, not wearing a mask while out on the floor and interacting with customers. ATTEMPTED TO Visit for my daughters birthday. After driving a hour away, I was told there was a 20-30 min wait. I waited in the restaurant for 15mins before asking could I go to the store right up the street. I was told by a hostess that I had time on my reservation to leave and come back. I stayed at the store for 10mins and a two minute drive back. When I returned the hostess let’s me know they have given my table away. When requested a manager, the manager comes over with no mask and tells me there is a hour and a half wait for another chef. There is no compassion for the hostess giving the table away. There is no accountability for the hostess giving away the table. The manager/(owner) never once apologized rather criticized how upset I was in front of my daughter. I’m beyond upset and disgusted with the service and accountability of the Staff and “OWNER”. The female manager would not even let me speak to “Wayne” who she said was the part owner. She stated he doesn’t come out the back to talk to customers. This establishment will never get a recommendations or anything concerning my business. I do not recommend nor would I ever do business of the sort. My daughter now on a school night ate Chick-fil-A and wasted the rest of her birthday night as well as the travel time. I hope they get better management and training for each associate. upon arrival I also told the first hostess my name and she listed me as Friend instead of my name so confusing that the second hostess did not even know I had even checked in before I asked to leave** Manager never offered an apology or empathy at all to...
