Update: The people running this establishment are insane and malicious. On top of that they are very dishonest and lie so they can feel better about themselves. I would not have left such a negative review if it wasn’t for how the owner handled the situation. All is good as long as you don’t disagree with them. We left there with plates full of food bc we didn’t eat it. The only thing we did eat was the appetizer that came before our meals. Maybe they were having an off night or a new cook, I don’t know. What I do know is that we will never ever return, mainly bc of the customer service. Nor will we recommend this restaurant to anyone. We went there as a family for dinner bc we had seen good reviews on google. I am now questioning if they were automated or paid reviews bc there is no way they received such high ratings. The food was under seasoned, bland, overcooked and my husbands dish was very strange looking, tasted even worse. They smash together lamb and beef into this weird, cardboard type of leather. After explaining to the waitress our dissatisfaction, she acted as if she was confused and didn’t offer to replace the meal or even take it off the bill. My husband spoke with the manager and he wasn’t any help either, just gave some cards for free appetizers BUT we won’t ever come back bc the food wasn’t good and the customer service is ever worse. We didn’t asked to be compensated for the whole dinner, just my husbands dish bc he didn’t eat ANY of it. Save yourself time and money go to Cava if you want...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tangiers Mediterranean Café — A True Taste of the Mediterranean Sunshine! ☀️🇬🇷

Today we went back to Tangiers, and once again, it was an amazing experience. We dined outside under the blue sky, enjoying every bite and every breeze. The service was friendly and relaxed, the portions generous, and the flavors absolutely divine!

We ordered the Gyro Salads, perfectly layered with feta, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and tender slices of gyro meat — seasoned and cooked to perfection. 🥗✨ We also shared the Hummus Sampler, complete with warm pita, dolmas, falafel, and fresh-cut veggies. Everything was bursting with authentic flavor and made with love. 🌿💫

Jason had the Lemon Verbena tea, and I went with the Piña Colada tea — both were light, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. 🍋🍍☕️

Tangiers is one of those rare places where you can taste the care in every dish and feel welcomed like family. If you love fresh Mediterranean food with a touch of sunshine and soul — this is the spot!

📍 Eureka Springs, AR 📸 (Photos attached — because words can’t do this meal justice!)

Trip one we had………. Absolutely the most killer Mediterranean food anywhere! It’s where we go on our trips to Fayetteville. The teas are incredible, the food is so fresh and prepared with care that it shows. The Gyro is incredible and a...

Do not order online. Great food bad online ordering experience.

Sadly they did not make the order. The issue was more of a problem than it should have been due to the staff saying my order was almost ready under my wife's unique name. After 30min of going back and forth from my car with kid waiting the staff member finally actually checked to find no order there. The cook said he put it out someone else got it I guess. Now I've driven home waiting on food that may or may not be there when I go back. They said they will call me but could not give a definitely time when the lamb would be ready..

This is over two hours after the order. I asked for a refund they said sorry it's an online order so you have to go thru their customer service.

Forgot to mention my folks are in town from out of state (the kids grandparents) we were planning on going to the basketball game and now can't due to waiting on food to feed the family not going. This was a large enough order we have to wait.

First world problems for sure but a bummer all the same.

It was nice to have the owner reach out quickly the manager there was great as well. We got the food! It tasted great but we were too late to make the game. I'd definitely call in from...

I have been here several times. Today's visit we received absolutely stellar service from Josephine! What a delight! From my previous visit: I had the Gyro Sandwich and my friend have the sampler plate and everything was scrumptious! Amazing staff as well. And they have a fabulous gift shop with handmade goods but I'll help support the economy back in Tangiers and are made there. Also, they asked if we wanted water for our service dogs and even had bowls available if we had needed them. #ACCESSIBILITY ACCESSIBILITY REVIEW: Not super accessible in the bathroom but it has a tall toilet. Also a small step to get up into the restaurant. One time when I went I was questioned about my guide dog but it hasn't happened since. I didn't know about it before, but Josephine kindly pointed out the ramp which is to the extreme right edge of the building as you are facing it. It is right next to an outdoor seating area.

I'm going all in with 5 stars for the Tangiers. The chicken kabob sandwich was bursting ingredients- lots of cucumber, tomato etc, along with chicken. The hummus was very well made with plenty of garlic and tahini. The falafel was possibly the best Ive ever had- fried with a thin crisp layer outside and creamy inside, rich with nutmeg, tumeric, and possibly allspice (?) Different from any Ive had and very delicious. French fries were fine especially with the added sauce served on the side. The chicken kabob salad was outrageous. The mint tea for 2 was served properly and absolutely perfect. The servers were fantastic and friendly. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were more than generous. Honestly I couldn't have been happier.
