So me and the boys love Sonic, especially happy hour, because who doesn't love paying less money for the same thing. I can be whenever I want. That's really isn't that bad and it just takes a little practice is probably the easiest way to describe it. You can pick your location in your general ETA and once you get there you type in your stall number so they know where to deliver it. It's also really nice if you have multiple people in the car allowing you time to enter your order from multiple people and multiple different ways without having to try and recite the exact order on a possibly sketchy microphone. Then you just send it in. So why one star if we like it so much! They are advertising false flavors, getting our hopes up. My boys and I rolled up to order some slushies or drinks after a hot bike ride only to find out that the pineapple, as displayed in the picture and pointed out to staff, was not available. Not only was it not available, they said it hadn't been at their facility for about a year but they are still blatantly advertising it as an option. Mind you this is on the digital screen which could have been edited in an hour or less, but a year later it's still there. Anyways I moved on and picked a different flavor. The next one was the sour apple, which again is listed in the picture not once but twice. We were told that they were no longer going to carry that flavor but luckily enough for us this particular Sonic had a little bit left and happily filled our order. If you as a business advertise something, you should make sure you actually sell it @sonic #sonic #sonicdrivein. That's like going to Waffle House and they don't have any waffles only burgers or chicken even though waffles is in the name and on the menus. So sonic, if you're listening, please fix your menus or stock...
Read moreI pulled up try to place my order on the app. App wasn't working. So I pushed the red button. Got a female employee who I did not get her name. I told her I wanted a single burger, easy onion, extra lettuce and pickle. She read this back to me three times completely wrong the last time she was trying to take off the lettuce and tomato which I didn't say anything about. Then I asked if that's what she said. She said yes. I told her that was not correct. Repeated my order again. She then yells at me through the speaker. Anything else I my stated that she does not need to yell at me. My order still not correct and being yelled at. I told her because I was yelled at she lost a customer. So I didn't call to speak to a manager. Not something I normally do. Manager that I got was Abby and said that there was a lot of things happening inside so she was probably having trouble hearing. I explained that's understandable but that's not what she said. She yelled at me. Anything else without getting my order correct when it is one sandwich. So I now do not have lunch and I'm pissed off. Will not go to this one again. Hopefully next time she doesn't yell at the customer and says I'm sorry it's loud in here. Can you repeat your order? It's not that hard. The customer will be understanding. I know I have worked 24 years of customer service in the food industry as well as retail. And it has never been acceptable to yell at a customer. But apparently the management at this Sonic believe it's okay as long as there's a reason like people are making too much noise inside. Obviously they're going to make noise inside. If it's too much then say hey guys. Remember we're taking orders...
Read moreThis happened a minute ago, so the memory is fresh and accurate. I placed an order for a $2.59 all-American hot dog and a $2.59 drink. The voice in the box said, “That’ll be $9.03.” I can do math in my head; she was wrong. I sat by the order box for three minutes waiting for someone to speak again (there were two cars ahead of me in line, one waiting a long time at the window). No luck. A girl came out bringing food to the second car. I called her to come over and told her what I’d ordered, which was obviously nor comprehended by the person taking orders, and said it needed to be corrected. She asked (I am not making this up), “Did you want a foot long coney?” I explained again what I had ordered: a hot dog and a drink. Not a coney, not a meal, just two simple things that should cost $6, max. I do speak fluent English, and I assumed both these people I talked to did as well. She looked confused. I started to explain again, but I could see that this was too complicated a situation for the staff, so I left. I would give them zero stars, but it’s not an option. Finney S,...
