I’ve debated writing this review for a while because I’ve never posted a negative one before, but I feel it’s important to share my experience to help others. A while ago, I ordered a mango smoothie from Basecamp and was surprised to find multiple pieces of mango pit shavings in it. I let a staff member know, but she simply responded with 'okay' and offered no apology or solution. She was surrounded by 2 other male employees who also heard the conversation, but offered no help. I was humiliated and all I could've done was sit back down at my seat. I tried to just spit out all the pit shavings but ended up having to throw the drink away because it was inedible. It was disappointing—not just because of the smoothie, but because of how the situation was handled. I used to love studying here, but this experience really changed my perspective and I have not returned since. I am unsure if this employee is still here, but I highly recommend that you do not order the mango smoothie.

A really fine, upscale coffee shop and restaurant. The coffee is good, and they make a variety of specialty drinks. I'd have given them a 5 star review if they had a rich dark roast on drip. The indoor and outdoor seating options are abundant, you should be able to find a spot to eat or drink here if you wanna dine in. The menu is small but the options are tasty. Their breakfast sandwiches have egg and fixings in between some butter-soaked and fried pieces of flattened bread. The crunch of the sandwich is kinda nice, and they have plenty of sauce options for you to dress things up the way you like. A sneaky awesome thing about the sandwich was the fresh fruit that came with it. I was delightfully surprised to get a little orange wedge and a strawberry with my sandwich!

This was my first visit here and I really enjoyed it. The staff was nice and patient while I decided. I like that they carry local syrups and chocolates. They had a small selection of pastries but a nice menu of coffee, tea, and seasonal drinks. They also had breakfast bites that all sounded good. I tried a cold brew and ricotta toast with honey, almonds, and fig jam. It was delicious and made within minutes. The coffee shop is spacious with plenty of tables, although most are wood or metal, so not the comfiest. Prices were average but they do have a rewards program and student and a military discount. It was a nice and quiet atomsophere, so great for studying and work. No all day free wifi though. They give you a code with purchase for 2 hrs of wifi.

So let me start by saying I woke up craving a breakfast burrito. I opened up google and did a search for places near me. I haven’t had my 5 cups of coffee either so I needed a place that could take care of both needs.

I’m always weary of new places because frankly I don’t want to waste my money on food and drink I don’t enjoy. I’m a huge drip coffee lover and I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot here!

Not only is my breakfast burrito killer (I’m not a sausage fan but gave it a chance anyway; must eat with the green sauce btw ❤️) but the bottomless coffee is a steal!

I’m usually a Colombian roast kinda person and I started out with the trailblazer… it was delightful. It’s a familiar flavor and satisfied my tastebuds. For my second cup I tried the Ethiopian blend. It was really good and I’d order it again but between the two the trailblazer hit home and hence cup number three! The gentleman was kind enough to show me the bag and describe the tasting notes and also told me a little about some of the collaborations they do with other roasters. I’m pleased that he knows his stuff.

This place is a definite must if you love coffee. I can’t wait to come back again and try the espressos.

You have gained a faithful customer beginning from day...

It uses to be my favorite coffee shop in all of Fayetteville (always have parking and seating, a microwave to reheat a coffee that has gone cold, water available for free, great wifi, places to plug in, tables of various sizes, ample space, and good food options if you end up working there for a while!)

But they've started implementing the same wifi policy that Puritan has; you have to purchase to get the wifi and your purchase only gets you wifi for 2 hours, you have 1 hour from the purchase to start using it.

So this used to be my spot where I'd meet somebody for coffee, then work on some stuff on my computer until I finished it. Now, my 1 hour from purchase runs out before I'm done with my meeting and I need to get special permission to be able to start the wifi and almost nothing I do can I finish within the 2 hour limit.

So, I, unfortunately can't rank Basecamp as high as I used to. Still a great coffee shop but they've lost their #1 slot in my book and their #1...
