I have a seafood allergy. My husband ordered shellfish but he made sure to disclose to the server that I had an allergy. I made him double check with the server that he knew about my allergy. We got our food to go, and after eating mine, I had an allergic reaction. If you have allergies, apparently even if you disclose it to the staff, they must not make an effort to eliminate cross contamination. Every time we go they have added some art or painted or something to make it a bit nicer, so atmosphere improves over time. The real draw, though, is the food. The vegetable in the Bento box consisted of one small stalk of broccoli and two carrot pieces and no mushrooms, which tasted and looked like it had been cooked a long time before I ordered it.
